Hey there, name's Clarity. I'd be interested in joining your game if you've still got room. I'm including two potential character ideas at the bottom, I hope that's not an issue. Left the descriptions brief, but I've got much further expanded ideas for both of them. Feel free to reach out to me here, or shoot me a message for discord if that's easier. I'm interested in being part of a group that has to endure this tug-of-war of decisions where angst among every choice has us on the edge of our seats. I genuinely enjoy crafting my characters in a way that they hold genuine intrigue and weight with their words, rather than another average-joe or overly-edgy schmuck; and I find that's easiest to do in a campaign with a dedicated setting and other serious, like-minded players. I want to get the true experience of being in a party and having our actions impact the world, immersion matters a great deal to me. I love reading and writing as a personal hobby, but that transferred into Roleplay and TTRPGS as I began learning of them. Also enjoy working on cars, though I'm still fairly new to that hobby. I spend a lot of free time theory crafting lore or coming up with my own worlds, so I'm always excited to learn what DM's have planned come each session. Character Info 1 Race: Owlin Class: Cavalier Fighter Age:  28-32 Gender:  Male Alignment:  Lawful Neutral/Good Character Description:  6'2", Medium Size, Yellow Avian-Like Eyes, Salt & Pepper Colored Feathers, 190lbs. Talon-like claws in place of traditional 'hands,' similarly for his legs/feet. Carved beak, additional metal coverings adorn his clawed appendages. Inquisitive, yet boisterous personality. Loves to get into danger, loves getting out of it even more. Eager to discover the truth and himself and his past, regardless of the toll it takes. Characters Concept:  Mounted lancer that has morally scorned the ability to fly in favor of boots on the ground. Foolishly fearless rider that gallops into combat with little remorse for himself, or the life of his mount, yet usually can improvise to get out minimally unscathed. Cast aside his Proud Owlin Lineage after discovering he wasn't his parents biological child, yearns to seek out the truth of his real parents, and prove himself in his own eyes and own way to live up to his adoptive family lineage. Character Info 2 Race:  Human (Possible Variant Ideas) Class:  Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer Age:  20-24 Gender:  Male Alignment:  Neutral/Chaotic Good Character Description:  6'0", Medium Size, Able-bodied farmhand with bodily scars. Medium long brown hair, green eyes, broad shoulders and bandage-like wraps. Overprotective 'big-brother' type with a passion for traveling, yet dissatisfied with the direction of his current life. Yearns to return to his peaceful pre-adventurer life, yet the weight of his journey is slowly shifting his opinion on the whole 'freelancer' thing.  Characters Concept:  Eldest son of a sheep-herding family that carries passed-down legends of their ancestors, who used to tend to Dragon Hatcling flocks rather than Sheep. After his parents leave the farm to him to go pursue the secrets of their past, he begins discovering his innate magical talent. Reading into a tome that his parents left behind for 'when the time was right,' he learns the supposed legends of his ancestors and curses his parents for not telling him sooner. Setting out on a journey to discover himself, and his newfound magics, he's determined to learn whether or not the stories of Dragons are even real.

@ Gatherer / ReaperDM  may I ask please is your "sunday start" for this coming Sunday, 26 March? I am somewhat interested in joining, although for me it would be a 05:00 start time. A bigger hurdle though is that I am winding down a Pathfinder AP that plays on Sundays and we need 2-3 more sessions. I will keep an eye on things here and see if perhaps you still need a player once that settles. Game on! What are you looking for in a D&D game? - I'm looking for a good challenge where I can bring a character to life that isn't an NPC. Also making new friends is always a bonus! Character Info #1 Race - Firbolg Class - College of Creation Bard Age -300 Gender - Male Alignment - Neutral Good Character Description - As a Firbolg, he doesn't really care what people call him. He usually goes by "Rathi" as a shortened form of "Hond Ebrath", since he liked the sound of the words. They also fit his personality well. He gets along with everyone and generally has a cheery, carefree attitude. He is nearly 8 feet tall and has thick, red dreadlocks and a bushy beard. Strangely enough, he also always smells like honey or mead. This might be because of his constant imbibing of both, but there is something magical about it as well (Feylost background). A brief overview of your characters concept - A Firbolg that grew up with the Elves and Eladrin of Iliyanbruen that re-established their civilization in Neverwinter Wood by building New Sharandar. Due to the unstable magics of the area, Hond Ebrath (el. for "True Friend", usually goes by "Rathi") stumbled upon a portal to the Feywild at some point. There he met a True Fey (potential Patron if I multi-class?) who sung him the song of creation. He recently left the Feywild and re-emerged in Faerun with a foggy memory of the experience. He sees flashes in his dreams and sometimes acts a bit "off" compared to "civilized society" due to the wild and wacky social conventions of the Fey. Character Info #2 Race - Human Class - Alchemist Artificer Age -32 Gender - Male Alignment - Chaotic Neutral Character Description -5' 11" and stocky, Taliesin is pale to the point of looking sickly. He's always seen drinking some kind of alchemical substance with the strong scents of anise and embalming fluid, but is reluctant to admit how often he does this or that the flask even exists. He also has a plethora of scars across his face and body, which don't seem to heal no matter how many healing potions he consumes. A brief overview of your characters concept - Taliesin grew up on the streets of Luskan (urchin background) and only survived because he was clever. In his early life, he was in a small gang that got absorbed into the Zhentarim. It was there he learned the arts of alchemy, supplying the Zhent's customers with a wide variety of potions made-to-order. Unfortunately, he discovered a certain formula that became his undoing. The Black Network is now looking for him and his formula, while he is constantly trying to evade the many eyes of those he once called friend. D&D Beyond + Beyond20 app – I don't have a D&D beyond account, unfortunately, but I do have most books on Roll20. If it's cool, I can use those to make a sheet there instead.
