Strange Things Are Afoot

A couple weird display issues tonight: With dark mode on, my advantage query window has an unsightly light-colored bar at the bottom. In light mode that bottom bar is slightly not-white. With the "show names on hover" thing checked, names do not show on hover.  All related token settings are appropriate, and names do show normally when the "...on hover" thing is unchecked. I'm guessing Roll20 has a case of the Mondays.

Light mode: the light mode query might have changed due to today's update which fixed some issues. I am seeing the same different bar, but I don't know that it is an issue or just a change.  Dark mode: I am not seeing the same issue, which browser are you using?  Does this occur in incognito or privacy mode? Have you tried to do a hard refresh?  Hover: confirmed, it is definitely not functioning. Names and bars are not showing up on hover. This is probably related to the update today. The Devs have been notified.

Does this happen in Firefox? Double checking, have you turned off dark mode and turned it back on in that campaign?

I'm on a chromebook, but with the firefox app, I do not have the same light-colored section in darkmode: and light mode looks the same as chrome:

The light mode is most likely not a bug, it is what I am seeing also. It may just be the new presentation after they changed some things.  However, with the dark mode being correct on your Firefox it leads me to think there is a potential issue with the Chrome.  I would normally say to confirm that extensions are disabled, but the incognito mode test should have done that.  My suggestion at this point is to file a bug report with the Devs via the Help Center . They may be able to see what is going on with your Chrome. 

I think I found the culprit, but I'm just confused by it:  I'm using Keith Curtis' Tiny Turn Tracker Stylus script.  It occurred to me I should look there, and i found that disabling that script makes it display without the white band.

I would contact Keith about an update to the Stylus script so it doesn't do that anymore. 

Hi Eponymous! That style has been tweaked a few times since it was first posted. I have updated the post it came from and hopefully caught all of the [ install ] links.

I really need to move all of my styles and links to userstyles.world, but am lazy.

For this second issue that you reported, we have just pushed a fix. Sorry about that.

Thank you Keith for the update! Thank you Andrew for the fix (confirmed!).  However, now I've noticed this, in darkmode: Lightmode for reference: Obviously not a game-breaker, but it's a bit jarring.

Try reloading after switching dark mode. Toggling dark mode on and off during a single session can sometimes lead to undesirable display issues.
