Bring Linked Handout to Forefront

I'm building a compendium for the homebrew in my game, using handouts.  I connect them together via links of the form [handout_name] The issue I have is if the handout is already open, nothing happens.  Is there a way to get the link to bring its linked handout to the forefront? Also, is there a way to get the link to open the handout at the top of the included text, instead of the end of it? Thanks!

Alas, I do not think there is a way to bring an open handout to the forefront by clicking on the link.  Regarding opening the handout at the top of the handout, it should be doing that already. It does that for me. Unless "at the top of the included text" means something other than the top of the handout?
No, if the text is long, it opens at the bottom and I have to scroll up to get back to the top.

I have an extremely long handout and it still goes to the top for me. Could you screenshot the handout so I can see how long the scroll is?
