looking for players to help test new homebrew game (zombie apocalypse)

Heya! so ill get to the point, i made a completely home-brew game that is a zombie apocalypse, its mostly survival based but once it progresses, story will start naturally. its still a work in progress so i need test players to help me iron out the kinks of the game to help make it work. maps are real places in the united states, loot is completely randomly generated, and so are encounters. im still working out a character sheet so ill need help creating one specifically for this game. i want opinions on how i can make this game better and successful for future games. so please contact me at EllieHallow#8994 on discord if you are interested or on here, im still new to roll20 so im not sure how this works. thx for reading! :D
Hi. Im writing this because I am currently a player taking part in a zombie apocalypse campaign. Although I believe that any campaign has the potential to be wonderful, It really quite depends not on what the DMs campaign plot is, but rather how he or she can get the players to care about the plot. My advice would be when you start your campaign. You need to really work with the players to establish a backstory that involves them being part of the world first. Then have that world be crushed and trampled by zombies. Lmao. The reason that I am saying this is because our group kind of had the opposite expierience, (to be honest I dont really blame the DM totally because we had some new players and the session zero got meshed into the first couple sessions where some were learning mechanics and a real one didnt happen until after the campaign started and also we were trying to figure out a platform to play on TTS or talespire.) we were plopped into a tavern, got attacked by zombies, and off we went. Its basically us being chased now, and I have no reason not to throw the random npcs in the party, in front of my PC as a meat shield. It all makes for good fun, but I dont feel invested in the world, I couldnt even tell you what the world is called. My point is, If youre going to run a zombie apocalypse campaign, you need to get the players invested in the world that will soon fall apart around them. So that they want to save it and have a reason to find out how to stop it. At least that is my opinion. :P and also be patient. dont rush a backstory into place just to get the campaign running. also whatever you do, dont make an GMNPC, it feels super bad when someone in the group asks the gmnpc "what way should we go?" and they just get pointed in the right direction. xD If by all means you want some help ironing some things out, Its nice to be able to talk DM stuff with someone as you cant really do that with your players. I will most certainly help. my discord is Venombites#9430

"maps are real places in the united states, loot is completely randomly generated, and so are encounters." imo, so far, your idea seems like either a board game with random generation or a very story-centric collaboration.  I don't run any games. I mostly play lots of zombie survival games.  I'm a very easygoing person.  For me, the Golden Rule is important, "Make sure everyone is having fun including yourself."
