Direct messages not opening with text box

Hi for the last couple of days - when ive tried to open a Direct Message it is doing so wihtout the text box - just the robot check filling the space - its not always like this multiple reloads bring the text box on some occassions.  thanks Rick

Hi Rick, That's been a long-recurring sporadic problem. I believe the devs are well aware of the inadequacies of the current text editor, but TE's are notoriously problematic to mess with. I'd suggest deleting cache and cookies if you are getting the robot thing too often. Also, if you ever get the bug where the textbox is there, but too small to use, if you press the button that adds a horizontal rule, that will expand it so that you can type.
