Modules on Marketplace Malfunctioning (Stop Purchasing till Fixed)

**UPDATED: Issues have been partially resolved, only not working on Smart TV** I had purchased a module called "Meteor" and had a game running for some time. I used it to prepare a homebrew campaign I have been working on for some time. Recently, I found it no longer accessible after launching the game. The game stuck at the loading screen and eventually crashed. The game used to work on all of my mobile devices and the smart TV. Now I can only access via PC, which is an issue since I used multiple devices to play/prepare the game. If anyone else might be considering purchasing modules, hold onto that thought till they got it fixed. Steps taken to determine Module as the cause: 1. Create 2 new games, one with the "Meteor" module, one without the module. Nothing else is added to the new games. 2. Launch both games on every devices (PC, smartphone & tablet on Android or Apple, smart TV of unknown OS) I can find. Results: All mobile devices and smart TV failed to launch the game with module. If I had known any modules would have malfunctioned that way, I wouldn't be buying them in the first place. I will keep this post updated till the issue is fixed. For DMs with multiple modules and multiple devices, please run a test on your modules, please post here and share what other modules are malfunctioning. Thank you in advance to those who contribute. List of Modules malfunctioning & issues: (in the chronological order) 1. Meteor by Red Table Games - Known issues: game failed to launch on smart TV (Recent; non-pre-existing/recurring)
Thank you for the list. Have you contacted the developers of said module so that they are aware of that bug and are able to fix this? Have you filed a help center request for it?
Years of submitting tickets to help center have taught me one thing: Auto-mated replies is a good way to not answering anything or responding to requests. So I gave up using any of those at all. I don't recall a time where the developers actually accordingly to the procedures taken/measures applied that I have submitted in details. You can try. Pass this case to them via a help center if you can find it. I surely didn't.

If Roll20 Devs do not act then surely they will as they want their module to be purchased...

Hi Leo Lionheart! I was not able to reproduce this given those steps. The module loaded for me (for reference, on a mid-to-low range Chromebook). Did you get it to load at all, was it only on subsequent re-openings that you got an issue, or is there a step to try beyond those listed? Another thing to look at: Are you able to pull in creatures from your compendium, particularly any from a purchased source? If the module still does not load, and this latter is true, you might be running into an issue with image serving. There is a temporary stopgap fix for this issue on your account page. You could also try loading in a private browsing window, but the number of devices you have tested on suggests that it is not an extension conflict or bad cache/cookie data. If this does not help, other modules are loading correctly, and you don't want to pursue a Help Center Request , I would suggest pursuing a refund.

I have tried to use your recommended setting in the account (It was my preset setting). I like to fill you all in some additional details I might have missed out: The issue began about a week or two ago. Because of that, I have been working on a different game entirely (without the module) since then. The issue continued till probably a day or two before I posted this when I attempted to launch it again. I still cannot launch the game via my smart TV ONLY for now. All other devices are loading the game just fine now. I think the dev team might have finally noticed the problem and fixed it; or someone has submitted a ticket for me. Either way, thank you all. Thanks to TheMarkus1204 , keithcurtis and Kraynic . Followup question: Can I inject the module to the different game I have been working on lately? I think I have tried before, but perhaps I am looking at the wrong places? If it is impossible, just skip. Thanks.

Moving assets (characters, pages, handouts, etc.) between games is a Pro perk, using the Transmogrifier tool. Further, only the game's creator has access to the Transmogrifier. Characters can be moved one by one using the Character Vault (under "Tools" at the top of this page).

To add to what Keithcurtis said, to import a character into a game via the Character Vault requires that either the Campaign Owner or the Player has a paid account (Plus or Pro) and also requires that the game is set to accept importing characters from the Character Vault.
