Charactermancer button(s) not working on 5e Compendium Compatible Imported Character Sheets

What the title says.  Imported sheets from a 5e Compendium compatible game into another *exact* copy of the same game and now none of the charactermancer buttons are working.  It won't even "reset" the character sheet with the "Launch Level 1 Charactermancer" button.  It's acting like a completely dead button.  Using the charactermancer on a newly created character sheet in the game works though.

Were the imported sheets originally created with the Charactermancer? Does the charactermancer button on the settings page work?
To answer your questions, yes the sheets that were imported were originally created use the Charactermancer and if you're talking about the two charactermancer buttons in the settings page inside the character sheet then no, they do not work.  I don't know of any other charactermancer settings page.

I have no idea if this can be an issue or not...  Does the game copy have the same compendium resources enabled as the original game?

The compendium selections for both games are the same (the one with the charactermancer issues was copied directly from the original, which has no issues that I can see).  There are some settings that are different, and the "Share my compendium with players" menu in the second (copied) game is set to "No" instead of "Yes".  I changed that setting and it didn't change anything. Though now one of the new character sheets I created for the game is working using the Charactermancer but a *second* that was created at the same time, is now not working.  I just got even more confused.

There's the red button near the top of the main tab of the sheet. There was some work on that button over the last few months, and I was wondering if it might trigger differently from the one on the settings tab. Hmm, here's a thought: Since you have turned off sharing for that game, check the permissions on the sheet. Compare the working one with the non-working one. In particular, see what happens if you specifically name yourself as a controller/editor on the non-working one.
The red button doesn't work either.  Could it be something in the Attributes & Abilities tab? The one character sheet that acutally has a functioning charactermaner has different attributes than the character sheets that don't.  There are also several attributes on the sheets that aren't working that are repeat attributes, though I'm not sure if those matter or not.

This might require dev intervention, since it needs hands on investigation. You can file a  Help Center Request . That being said, can the original (in the old game) be leveled?

Since some of the repeating section info isn't behaving right, it sounds like some of the sheets simply didn't survive the trip through the transmogrifier totally intact.  Have you tried dragging them in again (overwriting the current sheet in the copy), or deleting the troublesome characters and then moving them in again? Of course, if the 2 versions of the characters have already diverged, you might not want to do this.
I submitted a trouble ticket, and the originals from Game 1 have diverged significantly from their original starting point (where Game 2 sits now).  Thank you for the advice and help, I'll wait and see what happens.  If all else fails, it just means my players have to now learn how to manually input data (which hurts their egos more than it hurts their brains).
