Cannot hide explorable darkness

Maybe it will work eventually, every time i try to post this topic i get an error I try using the "Hide explorable darkness" tool on my hex map but it does nothing. The area stays explored. My map has several areas explored in a corrupted mess that i cannot hide. Resetting the darkness is not an option. I have no API nor anything else active, and this issue remains even after i clear my browser cache. I will include images in a reply if roll20 lets me
corruption selecting the tool trying to hide.... ...but nothing happens player view, nothing hidden

Hi Derahex! I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. Can you post a shot of the DL layer and the page DL settings? Are you using freehand lines (these are extremely problematic)? From the player view, where is the token that provides the player with sight? BTW, the issue with posting the images likely comes from copying a local source and pasting into the forum field. Either copy from an online source, use the upload button, or drag and drop from your desktop. Copying and pasting from a local source lacks some critical metadata that the other methods provide (so far as I've ever been able to tell).
I'll spare you the DL layer as it is wholly and absolutely empty. DL settings page the 3 tokens that provide illumination (pink arrow and torches) in the entire map. The pink arrow is the only token with sight (used ctrl+L to view what the pink arrow can see).

I'm not sure, given what I can see, what might be causing the issue. Even Permanent Darkness seems an unlikely culprit. I'm hesitant to keep suggesting things, since it would mainly be blind guesswork, but you could try duplicating the page and see if the problem persists on the copy. If you want to PM me an invite and promote me to GM, I'd be happy to have a look-see, or you could file a  Help Center Request  if you want an official hand.

I already gave up and just made a copy of the map and manually revealed all that was revealed. The copy's lighting works as it should and no corruption on the right. Lots of work but less hassle then trying to work with r20 staff. Thanks for looking into it anyway
