What is "Depreciated"?

Hello! Sorry for posting if the answer is elsewhere--but I tried searching in the Help Center, Forums & Community Wiki without finding information. I see that the Module I wanted to use to create a new game is marked as Depreciated, does that mean I must do something to update it or such? Thank you for your time if you read this--and can help! It usually means something else has replaced it. Can you still use it?
Thank you for your help! I can create a game with the Module, yes (and still use the old game I had created). I also found that I had "bought" the same Alien RPG Starter Set a couple years after my initial purchase: I imagine Roll20 'gave' me the new version when some change was made. But I cannot use the newer non-Depreciated module to create a game with (it does not appear as a choice for creating games with). I was just wondering if there is some process to go through.

It depends on if it is a typo: "Depreciated" likely means that the price is reduced because you already own parts of it, such as purchasing a bundle when you own some of the items. "Deprecated" means obsolete or outdated. I think this usage is less likely in the context of a Marketplace purchase. For instance, if you were still able to purchase the original module offering for Curse of Strahd after it has been replaced by the updated version, the old version would be "deprecated". I suspect very strongly it is the former case and the correct usage. To clear up any confusion, the very best route is to file a Help Center Request and explain the issue. Even if we users were to identify it here, it might require a team member to clear up and make sure that no one else is affected by this in the future.
Thanks! It is written Depreciated , though since it is marked no longer for sale, it might be an outdated version. Anyhow--I have found how to create games using the new version module (by creating via the module itself, vs. creating a game w. a module). So, I imagine it is an old, dated (and "retired") version and that I received the newer version. And I can use things, so it is fine for me. I was just a bit surprised I could not find any info' anywhere on that...
The old version was a module, the new version is a GameAddon. You can add a GameAddon to an existing game, see https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360048923354-Addons
