Dice rolls the difference?

I'm going to have to start with an example: -My stat is somewhere between 1-10 (let's say 7) -rolling on a D10. (I rolled a 3) -I'm trying to roll under my stat. The lower the better. So if I rolled a 3 and my stats was 7, I got 4 success. Is there anyway to get the Die rolled to count that?
You could use /roll 7-1d10 and that will give you a positive number on success and negative on failure and in both cases showing how far away from 7 you are.
Eric, read the help, it helps. <a href="http://help.roll20.net/dice-rolling-reference/" rel="nofollow">http://help.roll20.net/dice-rolling-reference/</a> -> Target Number (Successes)
Pekka, that's not really what he asked for as he also wants to know how much of a success it was (lower the better). The Target Number technique will only tell you if it was a success or failure.
