Moving a character to or from a folder in the journal?

Is there a way to move a character in the journal to a folder/between folders/out of a folder etc.? I tried drag and drop and going through the character vault. Neither work.

Drag and drop should have worked, are you dragging the name or the thumbnail image?  When reordering the Journal tab make sure you are dragging the thumbnail image, it will turn into 3 bars.  And Keith to the rescue with a gif. :)

Hi Vodostar! Make sure you drag from the icon or handle, not the name. The motion is a little quirky, but here is an animation from the wiki 1. Hover your mouse over the item you wish to move. 2. Grab the ≡ that shows up along the left-side of the item name. 3. Drag the item just below the folder that you want to move it to and then move the file to the right before dropping it in the folder.
It is quirky indeed. Cause if you want to drag the token to the VTT you need to grab it on the name, if you want to move it around in the journal you need to grab it with the icon turning into the 3 bars...
OK. I hadn't even noticed the handle. That worked. Thanks all.

I think of it as the hamburger icon being the "index" of the character entry, while the name *is* the character. So when I want the character (viewing), I click the name. When I want the character (on the map), I drag the name. When I want to move the character (changing the index position), I drag the icon. Maybe that helps to think of it that way...?
