D&D 5e; newbie
player looking for DM and/or group that is 18+ (just more comfortable as I am
old, 31, F, LGBT), LGBT+ friendly, Hybrid PBP, ONLINE (anytime). So what I am looking for is
a little unconventional (probably), but I'll try to explain it. I saw only one
ad that came close to what I wanted, and it used the term hybrid pbp. Sounds
good. About me Hello! I'm Alice or Alicia. I am a roleplayer, and I love fanfiction. I want to jump into DnD
5e, so that's what this post is about! I am currently in the reading stage,
working out stuff, trying to make characters, learning bots and other media of
playing, that sort of thing. I have not played a game yet, but that will change
soon. That said, I do not mind also roleplaying Vampire the Masquerade. Just I'm in a bit of a honeymoon stage with DnD. What I want (format) So what I want is both
play-by-post (pbp) and a bit of voiced sessions. That would be ideal for me.
See, I do not think I can carry a story through voice, but I imagine that
writing a bit of backgrounds and interactions and roleplay and then maybe doing
some exploration/combat in vc could work. I would love to write up rp sessions
in little flashbacks and such. We could be just a couple people or more. I
always get overwhelmed in large groups, and while I try, I notice that I work
best in smaller groups (maybe up to five). Experience I'm new to
DnD, and I have never DM-ed. I am an experienced pbp roleplayer (NOT in DnD but
another ttrpg; my preference is 2000 char per post; adv lit, but
not picky about grammar, just give me a lot of fun). I know how it's done in
writing, and I love dice! Availability For me, any time is okay. We can make a bit of a
schedule with rough dates/times and such, but I know that stuff happens, and I
am very flexible. Being late is ok, being unable to turn up is ok, I just hope
we figure it out. Timezone if GMT+5, Russian accent. What I REALLY want (themes) I come from pbp, so I love
the roleplay aspect. Character interactions. Building backstories (please yes
please). Generally creating characters. Maybe some character development. If
not, just tribulations characters go through (I do love some darker themes). I
enjoy dice, so combat is fun. Exploration is amazing but I would not be able to
come up with exploration stuff, so... only if you can do that. Same for
mysteries. Bottomline Finding a DM/GM to play with (individually or in a small group) 18+ ages with both pbp and voiced sessions
would be ideal for me. If you want to train a DM, btw, I am interested but scared. And happen to know the lore of VtM... quite well? You are all amazing, and I
