[LFP] Saturdays 6:30 EST | 5E based Homebrew | Loose narrative style game

15 years ago, the Duchy of Ber was host to an outbreak of dangerous undead. The Old Duke was unfortunately quickly lost to the outbreak, however the new Duke, Duke Tergum, with a nameless deity by his side, was able to reduce the spread of the undead. Thanks to Duke Tergum's extensive reforms, as well as the help of the nameless deity, the undead within the Duchy have been prevented from spreading further. The same cannot be said for the neighboring countries who have had recent outbreaks of their own. Whether you're a local adventurer, a foreign agent, or anything in between,   having  searched and exhausted all other solo methods, you've gathered with others like you to discuss what to do about the undead.  Howdy folks, I've got a heavily homebrewed game with a reworked combat system and a grittier fantasy tone. Looking for some players to try it out. Combat will be more brutal than standard 5e, but still without excess gore. I prefer to give my players a lot of agency and impact in the narrative so where the campaign ends up going will be up to ya'll.  The Meat and Potatoes: Variant rules for Encumbrance, Spell Points, Marking, Massive Damage, Cleaving , Healing Surge, Healer's Kit  Dependency,  and Slow Natural Healing,  are enabled with some revisions to better mesh together.  Additionally the variant rule  Plot Points  options 1&2 have been enabled to assist you all both in guiding the narrative, as well possibly giving assistance in or out of combat.  Finally, I have basically rebuilt how attacks and armor work from the ground up. The aim being to increase the impactfulness of build options without adding to much felt complexity in actual combat.  Other Details: PCs will be level 3  We'll play on Roll20 with Discord voice. Session zero will be on Saturday, May 27th at 6:30 EST Sessions will most likely be 3-5 hours on average. I'll be inviting 4-5 people to my discord for the game. Interested? Reply here if you'd like to join. Please include a highlight from a game you've played, your favorite character you've played, or a character you would like to play in the future. If you have any questions or concerns I'll also address them here.
G-day. I'm ScruffyMadman67#9792 on discord and I am very interested in your game here. Depending on what will be allowed by yourself, I have many Ideas that I would love to try. I am known by a few of my friends as the Tebaxi Rouge/ Monk that single handedly took a keep using nothing but my claws and luck. Hope I can fit into your game and playstyle. Hit me up in Discord at any time ( Will answer rather quickly if I am not playing DayZ or sleeping) Madman
Update:  Sessions have been moved to Sundays 6:30 EST, and session zero will be May 28th at 6:30 EST
Hey, Im interested . Discord:  Joetato#1100 A recent memory I got that I enjoyed was when my character had a bag of  magic beans and when I planted it a pyramid  grew right outside of a town. Fun time going around and trying to explain to the townsfolk that it has been there the whole time.  My favorite character was a beast master ranger because he was my first long term character and having a wolf and being able to conjure some was cool. A character idea I have is a cleric/fighter that uses violence and agressions to achieve the peace that his goddess demands. Like a religious peacemaker.
