Can a player add characters?

Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this.  in the journal tab, the GM can allow players to view and edit character tabs, but is there a way for a player to be given access to ADD character tabs and folders themselves, without being a GM?  My GM is dragging his feet and honestly this is just something more up my alley.

Afraid not, there is no current way for players to do that.  With that said, you could make your own game, create a character there, then import it to the Character Vault and export it to the game if you or the campaign owner has a paid account and the Campaign Owner has enabled people bringing characters from the Character Vault.

If your GM is a Pro Subscriber, there are several scripts that can do this, and give a macro for players to create a character with a single click. If the GM is not a Pro subscriber, it is as Gauss says.

Ahhh thanks GiGs, I wasn't aware that the API had access to that. :)

However the DM still needs to move them as he is the only one seeing all Folders etc.
