Two Players searching for 5e game

tldr: two 5e players looking for a game (one shot preferred to feel out group) starting around 2:30pm to 3pm EST. 3 to 5 hour session(s), on Thursdays. or 2 to 4 hours on Fridays. Hello. I'm an experienced 5e DM that DMs two campaigns a week, and am trying to find more options to be a player. But I come with a friend that I game with. It is quite the task finding a new group that is free to play, matches our availability, has room for 2, and doesn't have common red flags before even joining. So, I figured I'll toss this up and see if there are any DMs or groups looking for more 5e players. We are roleplay driven players. If you are a DM/group that plays oldschool DND where characters are meant to die, we are not interested.

Still looking for a group? I may potentially have a game about to start in which I'd have two seats open. It is D&D 5E, Curse of Strahd slightly modified as some players have played it before and I have DM'd it before and want to keep it fresh. Unfortunately it's not a one shot but we are super friendly! The time would be weekly on Friday nights 11PM-2AM CST. Player death is pretty rare in my games but not impossible. I think since 2016 we've lost 4 player characters and 2 of them were due to the player wanting out of that character.  I would want there to be a meeting between you and your friend, my players and myself to see if we are a good fit together before we actually start playing.
