We are looking for 1 player to join our weekly game (of about 3
hrs) we will be playing a series of Haunts set in the 1920's based in and
around Massachusetts.. We aim to play the following titles Edge of Darkness,
Deadlight, The Hills Rise Wild, The Condemned, City in the Mists, A Painted
Smile and Watcher in the Valley to name a few.
We have been playing together as a group on Roll20 most
Thursdays, on and off, for a few years and we are looking to expand our numbers
up to 5 players and a GM.
We have FINISHED three big 5e campaigns (Tomb of Annihilation,
Decent into Avernus, and Odyssey of the Dragonlords) and we are looking for a
change of system and setting. We all have some experience with COC with one
very experienced player and moderately experienced GM.
Our aim is to have fun, laugh, make friends, and hopefully
survive the eldritch horrors that await. We are not super heavy in RP but it is
there in every session, we are definitely no Critical Role but we all try.
As this is Call of Cthulhu expect some mature themes including
body horror and mental health issues etc hence the 18+ rating.
We are kicking off with The Edge of Darkness
As this adventure provides the opportunity to make one
another’s acquaintance and become friends and allies in an ongoing struggle
against dark forces
you have been called to the hospital bedside of a dying man,
Rupert Merriweather, an elderly gentlemen fast succumbing to cancer. The
investigators are all friends, relatives, past students, and former colleagues
of the man. The exact relationship of each investigator we will discuss in session
0.
Each investigator received word of the man’s plight either
by telephone, telegraph, or personal courier. You learnt he is confined to St.
Mary’s hospital in Arkham and that he wishes you to visit him tomorrow
afternoon—a Thursday—at one o’clock…………..
