Mostly Beginner D&D player, looking for friendly role play group for saturday, sunday, or monday

Hello! I'm Richard, or just Ricky for short. 31 yo male. I'm looking for a group hopefully on either Saturdays, Sundays, or Mondays. Saturdays are short days for me, and I'm usually off Sundays and Mondays. I make my own schedule, and this is how I have myself set up. I'm salary and manage a kitchen, so I occasionally end up working, but I'm pretty good about taking my days. As for my experience, it's mostly pathfinder with a little D&D. I've never actually completed a game, so I've been off put from playing for a quite a few years, and I will need some help getting into things. I would rather play D&D. I Don't mind one shots, but I'd also like to get into a long campaign I can sink my teeth into. It can be by the books or home brew. I like coming up with backgrounds for my characters that the DM can use for future plot, or not. I don't think I'm super great at role play, but I'm looking for a group that can help me improve.

Sounds like you might enjoy my campaign: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/11517769/lfp-world-of-darkness-god-machine-chronicle-new-players-welcome The LFG listing has a section on how to join: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/373837/the-unbound-machine I'm primarily looking for players who want to sink their teeth into a long campaign where you make critical choices. If you've played D&D then you would find World of Darkness to be quite easy. There are no complicated rules to learn, actions and skills all work on the same system of rolling 10-sided dice with 8+ being a success. The more points you have in a stat or skill, the more dice you get to roll. Involving you in the plot is important to me so your characters background is crucial for the story. The intent is to make heavy use of your background and skills. WoD focuses primarily on your character and delving into a dark world which blurs the lines between modern life, the supernatural, and technology.
