Greetings.  Coming atcha from the Pacific time zone.  I'd like to start a new, 5th edition campaign in my life-long homebrew world. Have been running D&D since I was a kid. Seen it all. But still a little newish to the current edition. But have had a couple or three good medium-sized campaigns in the last couple years on Roll20. I like a game that starts at first level in the classic way, and let characters find hooks and take interesting paths and help create the campaign with me to some degree. I may have a semi-story planned for the first couple sessions, but I don't script. I let characters make the flow. I'm character friendly and watching them interact with the world, each other, and grow and evolve are my main joys and why I do this and still do it free. I don't start things in an epic fashion so much anymore. Characters come together, have increasingly complex sessions, and the epic comes later (maybe by player choice).  You can look at my humble bio on my profile for a deeper dive into my soul (enter at your own risk).  Some pertinents to help you decide if I’m for you:  *I use battlemaps and tokens and a little juke box here and there for flavor. Nothing fancy. I like it easy peasy. Character sheets within Charactermancer, sure. "The play is the thing", said some famous guy once. We pretend to be elves, do some talking, and move tokens around. Again, I use the minimal tech to do a classic style (like I grew up doing with grease mats). I do love role-playing and provide as much opportunity as I can for that (such as lots of NPC's around). *I prefer people mature (ish) and over 21 years old. This isn't seereeuzbiznizz, but I am an adult and run games for adults (but I don't lean heavily into sexual stuff). *Don't want to rush into it. I'd like to PM, message, then in a week maybe a voice chat. We still interested.? Then set up a game for a week or so after that. How bad do we want to begin? *So, I am open as to days. But I strongly prefer a three-hour session from 6-9ishPM during summer (even 7-10, but want to be kind to possible east coasters) pacific time 2-4 times a month (depending on our availability). We would play with discord chat, no distracting video. Tuesday, Thursday, or a weekend night is best for me but am open to other nights depending. *PM me and we will go from there! *Cheers and thanks for reading.
