So I have a game-ending soon and the party is not staying together so I want to start a new game I love the Dragon Age setting, games, and system. I have played a Dragon Age game three times, all three in person but the same thing happened all three times. Two players start dating, break up, and it gets super awkward and the game ends. I haven't tried in 2 years just kind of assuming the game itself is cursed. But recently I was going through some of my old games in my drive and I come across my old Dragon Age notes and was proud of what I had written. After this, I replayed Dragon Age Origins and Inquisition and now I'm in a Dragon Age mood. I'm still not completely sure if I'm going to do the game I guess it depends on how well this post does so if you interested feel free to comment with any days you are free and character ideas. If you don't feel like posting any information in the open or have any questions feel free to message me. The game I have written takes place during the events of Dragon Age origins but if people really don't wanna play during that era, I could semi-easily rewrite the game a bit to fit any time frame. This would change the game's start kinda drastically. The game hook is below The year is 9:30 and in the city of Lothering, news had come down that the Kings Army had been defeated at Ostagar. The Teyrn Loghain and his army passed through about a week ago taking most of the able-bodied men with him and leaving the city to fend for itself. News of the ver approaching hoard comes to Lothering daily with more and more stragglers fleeing. Lothering is in shambles with any able-bodied person leaving or taking advantage of the chaos leaving the young, old, weak, and sick behind. A mixture of templars and survivors from the battle are doing their best to keep the peace but they are hanging on by a thread. Ser Bryant, the Templar Commander at the chantry, and Lothias Ellis, the leader of a group of Ash Warriors who survived the battle are looking for any able-bodied people for a job. Ser Bryant and Lothias Ellis need people willing to steal some carts from a group of Bandits just south of Lothering so they could move some of the sick who cannot move by themselves. With almost all the other able-bodied people gone and the rest busy, this leaves the party the job. Ser Bryant promises that the party will get paid in full once they get to Denerim. The proposed pay is quite good... assuming Ser Bryant lives to pay it.
