Time 1st Winter 1937 New Year's Day It was the day before we left for Forward Base Lima, to prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead our superiors has task all gear pilots of our 3rd squadron for simulation duel against the our Captain Miriam 'Mitzy' Hale. A prodigal Gear Pilot she was promoted to captain at a very young age, her skills are the real deal as she took out 4 troopers in a row before my turn but that didn't perturb me. When signal start i managed to take initiative and take in my surrounding noticed that the captain got environmental cover behind a large collection of boulders in west while on my side on the east i was exposed in the open, rather than seeking cover i go prone and move towards her while firing a salvo of my Rocket Packs. Maybe stun of my unorthodox actions or over confident of her victories against the other gear pilots she react to slowly and it has cost her greatly as my rockets got a critical hit dealing serious damage to her gear. After the short exchanged of fire i managed to win the duel the first gear pilot to defeat or captain, high of my victory i managed to persuade Trooper Amy to celebrate my victory and our deployment to the Forward base with cocktails at the Boobie Bungalow. As we enter to the Roadhouse bar i was greeted by a cheerful bargirl called Stacy, as she showed us to one of the empty tables i managed to spot a couple of attractive ladies drinking one too many cocktails and who are seriously drunk, As i ask if we can join their table so that i can try to work my charm for a foursome tonight i was rebuff as she is not interested on some Gear Pilot and would rather spend her night drinking away. I shrugged the rejection off and instead sit on a nearby empty table with Amy and start ordering drinks until i heard a small whisper behind my back by one of the drunk girls calling me cute and as i took a sneaky glance at them again i can tell from their body language that they are interested in me, all i need is to wait for a couple of drinks until i can try again. As me and Amy drink our cocktails we talk about how on our experience with fighting Captain Miriam but the talk turn sour on the news of the new Iguana Gears used by the Southerners which if the information is true will outclass both the Cheetah and Hunter Gears. I tried to lift both our spirits but being a realist the prospect of our encounter with this new model of Gears greatly demotivated both of us, my sorrow was cut short when the bargirl named Stacy began to sit on my lap and join in our conversation. She began to cheer us up and says that she believe that both us will do great against the Southerners invasion which boosts both mine and Amy's spirits. As i get to know Stacy she was pulled out by one of her co worker and left my lap for her turn on the pole but she gave me a small kiss on the cheek before she leave. As i began talking with Amy again i noticed couple of men enter the bar through the back of the bar and identify them as the owner of the bar and his Sledge bodyguard talking with a couple of strippers collecting his cut, knowing he is part of a criminal organisation rub me the wrong way but with how little power and influence i have i shouldn't cause a scene. I tried to persuade Amy to join me in a room of a motel for some private time but my seduction is rebuff again with this time she says she have to leave so that she wont be late for tomorrow departure. As i was drinking alone the two drunk ladies from before invite me to their table and introduced themselves as Dr Cherry O'Brian and her Sister Danna O'Brian. After a couple of more drinks i managed to invite them for a night in a motel where we share some sweet booze smelled love. As dawned arrived i woke Cherry up and on board her car we left Boobie Bungalow for our regimental base before departing to Forward Base Limaon the Orca. Time 2nd Winter 1937 Settling in Forward Base Lima, i joined the patrol team around the area and when we were passing by the Collette Seminary we were waved by a crowd nuns from the Seminary. I tried to show off some maneuvers but it was a mediocre performance.
