Welcome , A grand adventure awaits those brave enough to explore the Ravening Lands of Illystra! One of three major continents in the vast world of Ultera, Illystra is known as the most beautiful and most magical of these three shattered lands. Overflowing with magical energies after the Conflagration of Worlds nearly a thousand years ago, an event that shattered the once whole continent into three splinters, Illystra has thrived! A lucky occurrence given the continent-wide barrier that keeps it segregated from the outside world. Occasionally, a rumour arrives of figures traversing the veil... but these are rare and any word earned speaks of foul tidings for the rest of Ultera. Illystra is a primal land occupied by five major nations that bicker and barter with equal parts animosity and friendly rivalry. Each nation has allies, enemies, and cultural differences that make the constantly shifting balance of Illystra a breeding pool for fascinating and jaw-dropping events! Magic, monsters, and political machinations run rampant. The most lawless and 'openly' dangerous area of Illystra is known as The Ravening which sits at the heart of the continent surrounded on all sides by various courts and countries. Whether it is exploring the floating islands of Lorthos, where the clouds surge like tides and the trees sing songs of blades... or diving deep into the hidden underwater cities of Cilythes in the frozen tundras and boreal forests that house ancient things. From the worship of the Scions of Say'leth-Veil, the draconic leader of the southern Pyrelands and blazing peaks... to the whispering plots of the Fellway Court in Daelrathys, where shadows covet light and the moon dares not travel. Indeed, you might simply enjoy traversing the shifting sands of Thrantaren and the opulent desert cities and coasts where pirates revel and beastkin stalk the great sandseas. Even the Ravening, a central swathe of land unconquered and unowned by the nations holds relics and mysteries of yore, alongside the monsters that roam it. Illystra is certain to prove a challenging and engaging world for you to become part of. Yet for all this majesty and wonder, evil ever moves in the background; players move pieces towards a grander design. Can your wits match these unseen movements? Does your bravery match your power and will? Shall the bonds and allies you forge along the way make the difference when the masks fall away and the threats move in earnest? That will rely on you * There is much to do in Illystra. Do you wish to amass allies and oaths from the various peoples and factions of the Ravening? Dare thee seek out the six Elemental Temples and challenge their trials to acquire rare treasures and forge unique items? Perhaps even explore the Ascendant's Paths scattered throughout Illystra to earn unique boons or knowledge? Every choice you make, each decision you choose will influence the world. Each ally or enemy you forge will have rewards and consequences, as you are more than disparate parts in this world - You are part of it. ----------- I am looking for a party of six PC's to become a part of my world. I will work with you all to make sure you fit in and feel content with your characters. It will be challenging, rewarding, and full of emotion at times. **It will be a real adventure.** I am happy to adjust spells and abilities to fit flavours and will even look at some homebrew but non-printed works are subject to my approval. We will be using the Spell Points variant for spells as well as several other homebrew variants for this game. The campaign will be P2P to cover the time I put into this campaign and world as well as the work I will dedicate to the group moving forward. I assure you, it will be worth the cost! The campaign will start at level 3 and will continue through with plans to 20! I am seeking a very roleplay-heavy party that looks to work together with both fellow PC's and NPC's to learn and grow as part of this world. I run interesting and tactical combats but they are organic ones and not forced, so will only occur if it makes sense narratively. That said, I reward out-of-the-box thinking in and out of combat and eagerly await seeing players utilise environments, allies, and abilities to turn the tide! ------- Please fill in the following fields as well as a brief introduction of yourself. In regards to the class you wish to play, I do not need too many details as I will discuss viability and how they would fit in the world in PM's. I am a firm believer in taking my time with players to make sure they understand and are happy with how their PC's fit in the world and as a result, I see my players enjoy it more and feel involved and important. Name: Age: Pronouns: D&D Experience: Timezone: Your Preference Order (Combat / Roleplay / Exploration / Intrigue etc): What you bring to the party: Class you wish to play: Why you want to play in this campaign: ------------ This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of £15 per player via PayPal at the start of the bi-weekly session. Still searching, two very good players already found.
How long do the games normally run for?
Typically between three and a half hours and four hours depending on the most sensible ending point for that session!
Lots of applicants but still looking for more! <3
Ok, let me fill out that thingy and I'll submit it soon.
