A CHARACTER
Choose a Race or Lineage.
Choose a Class. Choose standard array or point-by
Unofficial classes/races can be chosen as well as long they are
preapproved by the DM before session 0. You must be willing and able to keep
track of your character on Roll20. If you feel unable to manually track your
character, then you must use D&D Beyond.
Alignment: Choose a non-evil alignment.
Background : Sword Coast Adventure's guide (SCAG) backgrounds are
heavily encouraged.
You can also create a custom background or use any available background
available in D&D Beyond. If you choose a background that does not grant a
feat, you may choose one of the following feats for your character: Skilled,
Tough or Magic Initiate.
Deity (Refer to SCAG): You may choose any deity to worship from the
Forgotten Realms campaign setting. Clerics, paladins, and any members of the Order
of the Gauntlet must choose a deity. Worshiping a deity allow the
acquirement of special traits such as spells, ability score improvements, and general
character enhancements.
Faction (Refer to SCAG): You may choose one faction at character
creation or anytime the opportunity arises during play. Benefits for faction
membership can include up to but not limited to, magic items, secret missions,
and accelerated training for kits and tools.
