Players not getting vision on DM dropped tokens

HI all,  Hopefully we can find some sort of solution this has occurred on two games that I have created. When ever I drop a players token on a map they aren't able to see anything they have zero vision. I have given them all the correct vision even on a full daylight map. The players are able to get their correct vison when they drop their own tokens. Doing this is a pain for me because id prefer to have maps setup ahead of time to and id like to drop players where id like to drop them.

Hi Ayleo,  Please supply a screenshot of the token's settings after dropping it on the table.

Could you supply the setting for the other tab? Additionally, since you have a Pro account I suggest checking out KeithCurtis' "Dynamic Lighting Tool" API script. It can diagnose Dynamic Lighting issues.

Hmmm, this token isn't connected to a character, how are you pulling it and dropping it?
From the journal tabs click and drag to the map where i want them

That is probably the problem then. Your tokens are not connected to the Character. Make sure you connect them then update the token to the sheet.  1) In the token settings change "Represents Character" to the name of the Character.  2) Click "Update Default Token"  3) Click "Save Settings" 4) Open the Character 5) Click "Edit"  6) Make sure the player is assigned control of the character. Check both "In Player's Journals" and "Can be Edited & Controlled By" lines. Both need to be set to the player that controls the character. 7) Click "Save Changes"
thanks thats what it was i didnt have them assigned to a player
