Having trouble sizing some maps, advice sought

Hello. I'm hoping to grid up some maps from the Haunted Keep PDF (link provided below) and the dimensions are proving truly problematic and I've been having trouble scaling them correctly Apologies in advance for a free download site, but this is one of the very few sites to even host this given it's been out of circulation for some time. Any advice for converting these older style map designs over? Pages 32 onwards. https://www.scribd.com/document/88004160/DF23-the-Haunted-Keep#

With any map with a grid where you don't know the right dimensions, you can right click it, go to advanced, and select Align to grid. Then zoom in to a gridded section where you can see a 3x3 section of the grid, click one corner and drag it across the the corner 3x3 away. That will scale it roughly to the grid.
I'll try but that's been having issues too with its odd initial scaling. Is there any guide to correctly sizing the imported images for older maps?

Hi Ian, If you have further issues with getting your map grid aligned to Roll20 please let me know, I can come help.
Well, I was wondering if the maps in question are improperly drawn for use with a VTT such as Roll20? i know I had to adjust them in Talespire significantly but I'm not a map designer as such so I can't speak with any certainty. Here's a couple.
Ian, Those maps are most likely not drawn for use on a VTT. Regardless of that, they are completely usable. After uploading the image onto the map level, right click the map image and click on 'advanced' > 'is drawing' to indicate that the image is not a token and should not be snapped to the grid. Then follow the instructions, The Aaron posted in his first response to align the map grid to the VTT grid. I find it easier when I zoom in on a small section containing a clear 3x3 section and then outline the 3x3 grid following the pop up box instructions. Carlos demonstrates this very well in the video referenced above. Note that the toolbar has changed if you are using the new version, but the basic steps are the same.
Will do, thank you.

Just a note: I don't recommend leaving your image as a drawing. You can do what Oginme suggests on a temporary basis, but it is generally a bad idea to leave it like that. I f you do you may accidentally delete it when clearing drawings. Personally I just hold the ALT key while making adjustments to the map instead of setting it as "is drawing" because I may forget to undo that.
Sorry I missed this. I'll definitely bear that in mind.
