We expect to run weekly, and currently have four players - two experienced in playing Bushido, and two new to the system. We need another two players to round out the party. Battlemaps, pictures and info will be on Roll20, and Discord will be used for audio. Bushido is a roleplaying game set in the country of Nippon – a mythical version of Japan that should have existed, but didn’t. The players come from Heimin (commoner) families in the village of Hanamishasu, in the province of Central Hyuga. Hyuga is a large province on the eastern side of the island of Kyushu. Their Lord is Kanawa Jisumi, a Ji-zamurai (country gentry) who retired after the last war ten years previously. The players have a choice of many paths; caravan guard, looking for work in the town of Nobeoka further up the coast, seeking their fortune in the inner wilds of the island – the possibilities are endless. I am an experienced GM, having run my main fantasy campaign for over 40 years. My current AD&D campaign has been running weekly on Roll20 for the last three years. I originally ran my Bushido campaign in the 80s, and am restarting it with new players. I hope to make sure people have a great time playing something very different from the normal fantasy fare. Contact me if you want to join in the fun.
Greetings. I am a huge fan of Bushido, although I have not played for many years. I have also played in Bushido inspired games using rule systems such as Champions and Hero System. My time zone is Melbourne Australia. I am a shift worker so would not always be available to play, but I can take time off work is necessary. Please contact me if you think I would be a fit for your game.
I’ve not played the system before, but it sounds quite interesting. I have some familiarity with Japanese history, so the setting won’t be entirely unfamiliar to me. The only real issue is I would only be available to start at 9 pm BST (4 pm EDT) as I have a class that ends at 3:45 (I am in the EDT time zone). Feel free to DM me with any questions if that scheduling change is okay.
I'm unfamiliar with system but a true fan of Japanese history and I've hosted an Japanese inspired campaign in an other gamesystem.  Im a 40+ man with lots of time on my hands, timewise works perfect for me. I live in EU and if you still are looking for players feel free to DM me.
Just to let everybody know, the campaign is currently full, so no room for other players at the moment. The current players are having fun trying to get Uncle (the local merchant) to pay them more for transporting his goods. They think they have put one over on him - but time will tell.....
