Doing a savage worlds game. How do I become a smith?

I'm in a savage worlds game based in medical times sorta thing and I wanna be a smith. The only thing I can find smith like is just the fix skill. Are there any advancements or something else I don't know so I can do this?

Medical? Do you mean Medieval times? You could build a professional edge. Blacksmith: Requirements : Novice, strength d8+, Repair d8+, 2 appropiate knowledge skills d6+ The Blacksmith adds +2 to Repair rolls. With a raise, he halves the time normally required to fix or create something. This means that if a particular Repair or forging job already states that a raise repairs it in half the time, a Blacksmith could finish the job in one-quarter the time with a raise. This is based off the Mr Fix it profession edge in the Deluxe core book.
