Using a Custom Character Sheet

So basically I made adjustments to an existing 5e character sheet made available, but the sheet had a json file that allowed for certain key options such as compendium use or using different modifiers for initiative. What I would like to know is how can I use the adjusted character sheet and json in my game, if at all, and if not is there any advice for how I achieve the initiative modifier and compendium without the json file.

You cant import the JSON settings file. You can use anything in that file, but you'll have to set them up manually. Create a new game, and select Custom character sheet. Then create game. Once the game is created, click the Settings drop down and select Game Settings. In the page that opens, you;ll have tabs for html, css, and translations. Copy the contents of your files itno thsoe tabs and save the file. Return to the launch page and launch the game. If there are any settings you need to be created for each character, create a new character (skip the charactermancer), set up anything you need as default, and save that character. Now use it as a templatee for all new characters - copy it and use it.
Thank you so much! The main issue I am still running into is that in the sandbox where I was working on this sheet, I was able to utilize my compendium. However, it does not seem to be an option in the game itself. Is this something that can be fixed or no? GiGs said: You cant import the JSON settings file. You'll need to manually select the compendium to use in the game settings page.
Thanks! For some reason it was defaulting back to none so I will make a note to keep an eye out for that.
