How does Roll20 handles the same picture used in handouts in different games

Hello all ! No bug nor technical issue here. I was just wondering how Roll20 handles uploading the same image twice, for example, in two different games ? Does it take twice the space and is it possible to include a previously uploaded image to a handout, or is it better to transfer the said handout from a game to another via transmogrifier to avoid uploading the same image twice (in both games that is) ? Thanks !
once it is upload it is in your art galley it is available in all the games you create. you don't need to upload it for each game.

I recommend using a Library Game for all your uploading & art library maintenance.
Ah ok, thank you ! I didn't even know I could drag and drop an image from the art library to a character sheet or a handout. I think I'll have to manage the mess I made now !  Thanks again !

While tidying up the library, it's a good idea to take the time to organize it with folders to help you find things more quickly. The Help Center has some good resources for management of your art assets.
