Sudden server loss to access my compendium's

i run a westmarch like server with a total now of roughly 30+ people on it, however as of yesterday 8PM CEST i heard my players state that they cant access the ingame compendium. while i looked into it today i noticed that i suddenly exceeded my 15 player cap with the amount on the server and roll20 decided to deny access to my books for share on the server, now i personally wont suffer as i am the holder of the books but it is now very sad that all my other players now have to go to DND wikidot to look up their skills and feats they earn. please do something @Roll20, i wish to share my books with my respectable friends as to why i bought so many online here cus if i knew this would happen i would made sure to instead just buy PDF's and hardcover books instead. PS. if only there was also a capability to select group types to be disabled from the compendiums as i needed to cut out some bits from 1 book and had to deny total access to it
i even get this message " You do not have access to  this compendium. " when i am trying to look up some stuff for myself even after a refresh when not sharing my books.

Hi GreatHunter,  Could you go into your compendium settings, change a setting, save, change it back, save again, then refresh your game and see if it persists?

If your players had access to the compendium while you had >15 players that would have been a bug. I don't think you are going to get that back.  However, what I would suggest is opening multiple other games, invite chunks of your players to the other games, give them access that way. They can use that access to create characters and import them into your main game. They can also use the website Compendium.  With all of that said, if you want you could message the Devs regarding this via the Help Center . But, as mentioned earlier, I doubt they will re-enable that for you.
I run the same kind of server, and we are experiencing this exact same issue. My server has been running for 8 months and we are just now seeing this issue. It was working fine for those 8 months and we had way more than 15 for this entire time. This is threatening the life of the entire Open World Campaign that has 80+ people in it. If this doesn't get changed, then we are going to have to move off of Roll20 as it isn't feasible to ask 80+ people to all enter things in manually and not be able to look up rules.

Hopefully this was a temporary bug as Compendium sharing still seems to work in the community hubs i am part of.  Community play is the (last) USP of roll20. Community Play is the big funnel of new players into our hobby and a major motivation for GMs to subscribe/maintain a pro subscription. If you turned off compendium sharing. Try to make a copy of the game, without copying the players. Turn compendium sharing on, then reinvite te players. This requires you to reassign all characters. There are some helper mod scripts: to store the roll20 account of a player in a character attribute and then reassign when a player joins the new game.  I am reluctant to share the script as it stopped working 100% after recent changes to the charactervault export functionality.
I am 4% in making a handout compendiun, its a hard job but so far the best option without the need to make a whole new server and reinvite my player base
I appreciate the help of everyone here but if the roll20 staff can't make some form of change I may as well have to lower my subscription down to plus or even just rip of from PDFs, something I hope NOT to have to do
