Hello! We might be just what both of us are looking for! We are VERY beginner friendly, as we all started playing in the very campaign we are asking for players to join (a couple had to...be dismissed). Our DM is 'new' but my gods, no one is more knowledgeable! He is a bit too forgiving lol. He is great at teaching and actually enjoys it. Honestly, I can give the women's touch to anything that isn't explained well ;-) I will copy my DM's post and paste here. "My party is level 6, Faerun setting, we use milestone, I as a DM have a style of "If you can make it make sense, I'll allow it to some extent." (Where balance applies) I allow my players to pull from 3.5/PF as well as 5th edition, or full out homebrew for character creation. Stats are rolled by rolling 4d6, reroll any 1s, drop the lowest. I have several homebrew classes/races, and I constantly am creating more. I value my players characters, their stories, I love when players write a backstory so I can truly make the story for them as well. I do one on one sessions in between the main campaign to assist players, their story, as well as provide them with a little power boost if things are a bit unbalanced. We keep the sessions light hearted for the most part, there are some nonsensical rules we enjoy as well. Feel free to message me for any questions!
