Can no longer Paste tokens that have been Copied

This just started - I r-click tokens and select "Copy", but when I go to then Paste on another of my maps... doesn't work. Nothing happens. Anyone else? If it's relevant, I am still using the old toolbar. I want no parts of the new nonsense, thanks. EDIT: I can Copy/Paste tokens ON THE SAME MAP, but I cannot copy/paste from one of my own maps to another in the same game.

From what I'm seeing, the page keeps trying to go into Pan View mode every time I try to click on anything (even nothing at all). And of course it doesn't actually go into pan view mode, because you can't turn it off. Refreshing the page 'fixes it' for about a minute and it goes right to doing it. Can't move tokens, can't right click on the board to use the menu, can't drag a box to multiselect, can't do anything. Just tries to stupidly scroll my page around instead. Obviously this was working last week, and whatever updates since then have broken it. I can't prepare my game like this, and I certainly can't run it.
I just tried to copy-and-paste a token from one page to another. I tried with both the new UI and the old. I had no problem with it. The token copied just fine using ctrl-c to copy and ctrl-v to paste to the new map.
Howdy! Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I was able to see this in my games as well. From what I can tell, it's currently only affecting the old UI. I've brought it to the team and they're taking a look right now, but temporary workarounds would be trying it from the new UI until we can locate the cause of the issue, or avoiding right-click copy-paste and sticking to ctrl+c/ctrl+v as much as possible.  Apologies for the troubles, and I'll update here if we have any developments!

Rightclicking tries to Pan View on almost all of my maps. Works for some at random.

Yep me as well, makes my games unplayable at this time, please get the old UI fixed ASAP Tom

I am also having this issue

I don't think I've ever bothered with the popup for cutting and pasting. :D But it sounds like there are at least two different problems being reported on the page. The OP was about not being able to paste on a different page, whereas most others are about right-click going into pan mode without calling up the popup at all, which can be used for a lot of other stuff. This might be an issue with timing the mouse behavior (at the program level). Click > popup vs click-drag > pan.
Its happening both ways for me the can't copy paste and the auto panning so one can't even grab what one wants, using the new tool bar is the only fix so far, I'll try the Control option as well Tom
Strange: for me it only goes to pan mode when moving my mouse before right clicking and opens the context menu otherwise... COPY / PASTE via Shortcuts does the trick even on different maps. I am using just this for convenience...

Many people do not stop moving their mouse precisely before clicking. And for some of us, the act of clicking moves the mouse.  As a result, we are trying to activate the context menu, but pan instead. It is frustrating.
They pushed a fix yesterday regarding the context menu. (See Changelog for this) Gauss said: TheMarkus1204 said: Strange: for me it only goes to pan mode when moving my mouse before right clicking and opens the context menu otherwise... And for some of us, the act of clicking moves the mouse.  As a result, we are trying to activate the context menu, but pan instead. It is frustrating.  I am aware of that fix, but there were two problems, not one.  Problem #1: When not selecting a token the context menu in the Old UI was not appearing at all, it was only panning.  This has been fixed.  Problem #2: When the Devs updated the panning to work with measurements it made it so that panning happens more, even when you don't want it to. As I described above.  Move the slightest amount while right clicking and you get panning instead of the context menu.  This happens on both Old and New UI. And it has not been fixed.  To fix problem #2 they need to set the movement threshold of the mouse higher in order to activate panning. Move farther + right click rather than move at all + right click.
