Introduction Hello hello! Onur here again with a different setting and campaign this time! I am hoping to start a campaign set on the lands of Theros on Saturdays at either 5 PM GMT or 6 PM EST, depending on which group maxes out first. I am also willing to make it a Saturday morning game for those of you that may want to join from America; always willing to accomodate for the time! If you are interested, I will be personally interviewing everyone to see if we want the same things from the game. After that, we will be holding a Session 0 to work on technical issues, introductions, and making sure that boundaries, relationships of the characters and how far is too far is all settled and solidified. The world is open, but rather than a complete sandbox experience of travelling from one place to another for different adventures, I prefer to have a slightly tighter style of storytelling; where we explore the world while propelling the narrative forward together. We will go over the character concepts you provide for me to flesh out your ideas, but we will also go over basic things such as having characters that all have reasons to be there. Campaign "In the mythical lands of Theros, the gods are always active; they fight one another, plot against each other to increase their already vast influence over the world. But they are forbidden by Destiny from directly interfering with mortal affairs; the natura order of things must be preserved, and they cannot openly wage war against each other. Still, they have options; the gods need mortal champions for themselves; inhabitants of Theros that they choose to help them realize their goals. You are one of these chosen. The visions of a god flood into your mind in your sleep; giving you glimpses of your destiny as their champion. It all starts for you, at the famous Iroan Games. This is your epic, your adventure - this is your story." The Therias is a Greek Mythology themed campaign, set in the world of Theros. If you've always been interested in telling a story of monsters, gods, fate and people fighting against their destiny, this game is for you. The world is riddled with hundreds upon hundreds of mysteries, with adventure, friendship, perhaps love, and power - waiting for you to start out on your journey and claim it all. As I mentioned, I have taken the setting and added a few little changes of my own, so it's a slightly more different Theros than you might expect if the world is known and familiar to you. It's beginner friendly, and we will start our adventure with the Iroan Games - a famous competition for athletes, warriors and the like to acclaim fame, glory, even citizenship. A very special prize is promised to the winner of the competition. The campaign starts at level 1 and can go up to level 12 or a little more, depending on how long things will be running.
