Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce private arrangements. About The DM I have run tabletop games as my full-time job for the last four years, saving assets and tools to enhance the overall experience. I am an audio-visual individual, so I tend to incorporate custom songs of villains or locations to give them a sense of personality. I grew up around theatre, which helped build my sense of story writing and attempt to do voices to give each NPC and villain a sense of life to them. I have always found myself pulled into fantasy settings such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, etc., which led to my interest in tabletop games. This is my passion job, and I am grateful for the community I have built and for Roll20 giving me this opportunity to provide for myself and my wife. I take pride in my work and do my best to continue improving each time from every session. Group Expectations Be Respectful, Communicative, and Considerate. Try to arrive on time, preferably 5 minutes early. If you cannot make a session, please try to inform me a minimum of 2 hours in advance so that I may adjust as needed. You do not pay for a session if you cannot make a session. We will tend to run a minimum of 50% of players during Roleplay/Exploration sessions, with a 75% minimum for expected Combat-heavy sessions. We will use Discord for Voice, so a Discord account is required. DM Expectations After being a paid DM for the last four years, I have over 6,000 hours on Roll20 and a well-rounded understanding of 5e. I use dynamic lighting and audio to provide an immersive experience. I am not overly strict on weight limits (within reason) I queue in players with checks if it matches their backstory or simply inform them of something they should know as a character that they might not know or remember as a player. I tend to use roleplay over checks unless it pairs with the situation thematically. I have run many different tabletop styles, from heavy combat to nearly complete roleplay with exploration bleeding into either; during session 0, I will let the group decide which percentage to allocate overall campaign length towards for homebrew. Services Sessions are 3 hours long. I will be present 10 minutes before and after each session for any questions. I will assist in character sheet creation, Storyboarding backstory, and rules questions. There will be the option to do 2-3 hour 1-on-1 sessions for backstory events, and groups may elect to do so as a tie-in before session one as a test run session to test character ideas, practice teamwork, and generate a more fluid story. Allowed Content I allow all 5e published content (Setting-based books will depend on features/settings). Homebrew content is allowed, although it needs to be approved first. Feel free to discuss it with me at character creation. Open Slots for Sessions (Set in EST) You can respond as a group or individual to set up a time. As a note, we will use majority voting to decide on a Module or Homebrew if needed for a group of individuals. Mondays - 5 pm-8 pm or 11 pm- 2 am Tuesdays - 11 pm-2 am Wednesdays - 7 pm-10 pm Thursdays - 7 pm-10 pm Friday - 5 pm-8 pm or 12 am -3 am, Bi-weekly 9 pm-12 am Saturdays - 4 pm-7 pm or 11 pm-2 am Sundays - 4 pm-7 pm or 11 pm-2 am Rates (Reminder all payments are via PayPal as listed in the disclaimer) The Rates for each session will depend on the based time set and Homebrew versus Module. The first session is always free to ensure DM and player dynamics are a good fit at the table. Homebrew Price The Base Price is $13 per session for 3 hours of play. $2 per additional hour with a cap of 5 hours of play, if available. Perks The ability to insert your input into the world itself, creating factions to incorporate your character into. A dedicated story arc, if preferred, to tie in the backstory to give a sense of meaning and purpose to the character being there with the party, A more living world with greater actions bearing consequences and rewards for accomplishing great deeds or feats. Modules Price The Base Price is $10 per session for 3 hours of play. $2 per additional hour with a cap of 5 hours of play, if available. Perks The option of playing any 5e module with your group! The modules will be revised to be tailored to the party as well as include additional stakes. While modules tend to be a bit linear, they are unique in each run-through, thanks to the wonderful players and DM flavor! Games Each homebrew has been or is currently being run for players for at least six months and up to four years, aiding each world's development and lore expansion. If you desire a custom setting, it may also be possible to offer. Homebrew Tales Within the Fractured Lands Tales within the Fractured Lands is a homebrew mixed with the forgotten realms as the two realms collided just 25 years ago. Continents, countries, man, and deity alike were tossed into the unknown as chaos occurred. The world has begun to stabilize as new countries attempt to stand their ground, though the division between these new worlders and old worlders remains. The gods have gone silent, and it is unknown if they are in hiding or worse, which has caused the mortal races to put their success into their own hands. As new adventures begin their journeys within these new lands, they are met with an expansive world that will challenge them for each breath they take and each coin they collect. Will they discover why the collision occurred? Will they live to tell the tale? Shadows Of The Waejirian Court The influence of the Shadows within the Waejirian Court has become known; cities have slowly degraded into a quiet and sorrowful place as fear has taken hold of those who live within these cobblestone streets. The “Silent King” men act worse than the banditry but carry his blood-stained seal to enforce their will. Archbishop Bellem leads the bleeding of the common folk's wealth. Rumors fill the night air with murders, disappearances, and evil creatures roaming in shadows. This was not always the case for this once mighty and peaceful nation; what greater force is at play? What will the tale of Waejir, The Kingdom of Roses, bring for some wandering souls, and how will their choices be etched into the tomes of fate? The Cast of Exiles It might not have even been your fault; whether you did the crime or not, seems far too irrelevant as you reach the shore of the Isles of the Damned with your hands tied behind your back as the water shifts the bow carrying yourself and a dozen other prisoners of the Empire. The guards tell you that the magical bracelets sealing any power you possess will deteriorate several hours into your first day, teleportation does not work upon these isles, and any attempt to return to the mainland will be met with hostility. As the sand begins engulfing your feet, you realize that you must find shelter, find allies, and above all else, you must survive! Modules Such as Lost Mine of Phandelver, Waterdeep modules, The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, and many more are available to be run!
