What is this? I'm hoping to find 3-4 more players to play in a Play-by-Post game I'm going to be running where players take on the role of a Patron/Faction leader. As Patron, your main goals are to expand, conduct diplomacy with your fellow patrons, and send Adventurers on quests. The game will be played mainly on discord, but we will be using Roll20 to conduct mass battles. The game itself is a mixture of a TabletopRPG, 4x, and Civ builder. How do you play? I will be using a heavily home brewed system based off of the domain management subsystem within an OSR game called "Low Fantasy Gaming." If you've ever played a d20 based game, you will get this no problem. You will be submitting build orders and actions on a weekly basis to be completed by your faction. You will have a pretty high level of freedom on what exactly your faction is and can do. What am I looking for? I live in the PST timezone, so it would be preferable if you were somewhat near that. I'd also prefer people over the age of 18 and have some experience with tabletopsRPGs. You will need to be able to have around 20 minutes - 1 hour a week to spend on this game. Setting? The setting in this world is based heavily on the real world medieval "dark ages," shortly after the Western Roman Empire fell. You are a settler of a new city, trying to rebuild some amount of order ever since the Empire of old fell apart. Magic has recently become "broken" and unreliable, sometimes causing catastrophic problems. Because of this, magic has become more and more rare, and people who wield this power are often feared. Sounds interesting, but can I be an Adventurer? Definitely. If people would rather go exploring old tombs and ruins, you should still contact me. Adventurers will work similarly to a West-Marches game, where you have a rotating cast of characters/players completing shorter quests. Perfect if you do not have too much time to commit. I will not be running any adventures just yet though, as I'd like for Patrons to settle beforehand. If you are interested, please reply below.
