[LFP] Serenity RPG on Thursday nights!

Did you buy your brown-ish coat because it was on sale?  Do you aim to misbehave? Is your signal unstoppable? Then we may just be looking for you! We’re  looking for 1-3 players to join an ongoing Serenity (as in firefly the tv show) campaign. Current crew consists of a masterful mechanic/captain, an extremely skilled and expert pilot, a pastor with some impressive technical skills and an equally impressive tendency for violence and explosives, and a semi-mercenary with a penchant for crime, gambling, and perhaps a little romance? I played in a campaign for Firefly recently.  I own Serenity as well.  Do you play weekly or bi-weekly?

I ask because I play in an every other Thursday Stars Without Number campaign. Also, on a side note, make sure you check out the new game that was recently on Kickstarter and Gamefound called Deep Sky Ballad.  It is basically VERY inspired by Firefly but is its own setting and uses a card resolution mechanic that is very awesome.  They are accepting late backers still and a Quickstarter and alpha doc are available.  As a huge fan of space westerns like Firefly, I backed this project and have read through the Quickstarter and really dig it.

How is the game going so far? I think I actually prefer the original Cortex system in Serenity over the Cortex Plus rules in Firefly.
