Duplicated characters should have token linked to new sheet (not old one)

I'm using the Duplicate Characters functionality quite a bit (via Character > Edit > Duplicate; from a template high-level character, making a duplicate for each player that they tune to taste). The master sheet has an attached default token, with several token settings in place (representing the given character, token bars linked to attributes, player permissions set to taste). When I use the duplication facility, surprisingly, the attached default token in the new sheet "Represents Character" back to the old source sheet (instead of the newly-created duplicate sheet). In addition, the Token Bar linked attributes are all broken (reset to "None"). For each duplicate made, I need to go through and manually reset the correct represented new character, token bar attribute links, and token bar player permissions. I would think a more straightforward use-case would be for the duplicated character sheet to automatically be represented by its attached default token, and for all the token bar attribute linkages to be maintained (to the new sheet, of course). This would certainly save me a lot of time in using the duplication facility. Hopefully that can that be corrected?
Had this yesterday. I copied a player sheet and renamed it. I would PREFER it, if the duplicated sheet has no "See" or "Edit" permissions. Then, if you drag a token for this onto the VTT it is linked to the new sheet and cannot be controlled by anyone besides the GM.

This makes sense. I have done a decent amount of duplicating characters in the last few months, and it would be nice if I didn't have to reassign the tokens.
