Song of Ice and fire RPG, Who wants to play the long game?

WARNING EXTREMELY ROLEPLAY HEAVY GAME I've been looking through the Song of Ice and Fire RPG book when I came across an interesting game mode called "Game of Thrones" What happens is every player controls an entire house for themselves (Including heads of house, heirs, maesters, hedge knights, ect.) and the objective is simple, You have to make your head of house or some other member of your house King of the Seven Kingdoms, the problem is that every other player has the same objective. The way you reach this goal is completely up to you whether you want to go into open rebellion, become the puppet master behind the king, use the religion of the seven to expand your agenda, or simply buy off the majority of the kingdom. If your interested then join the game at this link: https://app.roll20.net/join/111436/IIyiMQ As of right now the game times will be 8pm on Fridays CST Because of the nature of this game certain actions will be available outside of game time, things like conversations with NPCs, the sending of ravens and messengers to NPC's and other players, and other such actions that the other player won't be effected by and can be done easily without their discovery and possible intervention
Would if wasnt Fridays
Like I said the game dates aren't really necessary, most of the game will be played during the week in your own head or over IM on roll20 or skype with the other players if you want to speak with them about forming alliances or trading information with each other. Anytime a battle needs to occur all parties will agree upon a day and time that would suit them to act out the fight. The game time is just there as a time for all the players to be in one place and get told about what has been occurring across the lands, an easy time for any last minute events to occur, and an easy time for players to perform any tasks that would require rolls (such as tricking each other into doing stuff, fighting battles, ect.) and to indicate that an in game month has past
Gotcha. Then count me in. I will take the north aka Starks ;)
Just wondering, when in time will the game be taking place?
Robert Baratheon has been in power for 1 year.
Bump, Still got room for 5 more players
Bump, 4 places left
I am interested in joining, although as with Teddy, friday nights I can't do
I have no clue how to play, but this sounds very interesting and I am also just getting into GoT so I think this is freaking sweet.
I'm in the same boat as Jose. Let me in!
If you would allow, someone could be bannersmen. Not the full blow ordeal but think it would be cool.
We still have two open spots if anyone's interested, both the Riverlands and The Reach are still up for grabs
How well versed would you have to be to be able to join this? (In other words; is it beginner friendly?)
any room at the edge of your world for another player? maybe a dothraki, or wildling faction, could I play the iron bank XD ?
this sounds intriguing. id love to join in as the reach
Still looking for a soiaf game... XD
Did you check out this game, cause if you want I could make up some rules to let you play as the wildlings (something that I think would actually be pretty cool)
Could have bannerman if they want or places/city not controlled by others.
I would love to join this game, I just dont know how too, first time on this site. The wildlings would be great, I was just imagening the dothraki receving a profecy about the others and being united to come fight them, but I could aply that to wildlings just as well, or they could have other motavations if that dose not fit with the game. I am interested in the dothraki becausa I read these historical fictions on the Mongols and became enamored with them.... XD
Will, welcome first off. As for the site; its a chat app that works in your browse. GM would send a link for you to join the game. Voice can be done in game room but most prefer skype or others. As for joining the game, just pm Tate and see whats up.
The Dothraki will be a bit hard to do since I'm trying to keep the game to Westeros for now and the games setting is 1 year after Robert took over the throne, so its still like 12 years until they would become even remotely relevant. As for joining, the link in the first post on this thread should link you there but if it doesn't then I'll PM one to you
