For two years the Everlasting Rime, a perpetual night, has
plagued Icewind Dale and the settlements of Ten-Towns. Supplies are running
low, villagers are vanishing and terrifying creatures stalk the tundra.
Ten-Towns is dying. Can you save it?
Rime of the Frostmaiden is a medium level sandbox campaign
with some survival horror elements that uses new rules to simulate the effects
of adventuring in the freezing tundra.
I have set up the campaign in such a way that I can easily
customise how “sandboxy” it is, so if the group prefers a more directed,
streamlined experience I can easily provide that. The choice is yours!
About me
I’ve been playing rpgs in one form or another for over 20
years now and I have been a D&D GM for 5 years. I took to being a GM from
the very first game I tried and haven’t looked back; running 1-2 campaigns a
week ever since then.
I take pride in all my campaigns having very high
productions values as well as varied and interesting encounters. The only
campaigns I run on this site are ones with which I have prior experience and
have played through with other players, so all of the little problems and
troubles you can run into will have been sorted before you ever see a
battlemap!
I want my players to have the best experience I can possibly
give them and I’m always open to feedback on how I can make the game as
enjoyable as possible.
GM style
I have a pretty flexible GM style, running games that range
from heavy roleplay to combat focused. I put a lot of effort into adjusting the
campaign to the player characters and enjoy using homebrew monsters and
encounters; you won’t be fighting ten copies of the same enemy in any of my
campaigns!
Rather than try and explain in detail what I’m like as a GM
I’ve put together some videos taken from an Odyssey of the Dragonlords campaign
I’m currently running. This should hopefully give you a good idea of whether my
style suits you.
Combat encounter: The Heroes of Prophecy must face a band of
Amazons and their beasts of war.

Social encounter: The Heroes of Prophecy must persuade a
rambunctious band of Satyrs to help them with a quest.
