Only one player cant see health bars or nameplates

The game I'm running has 5-6 players and with the exception of one player they can see each other's (players) and the NPC's (monsters, etc.) health bars and nameplates; however one player can not. We have tried them reloading, tried replacing tokens on the map, tried swapping maps; this is also happening across multiple weeks. The issue is this player is a healer and can't see the health bars, we just found out he also can't see nameplates (maybe related). The only bars and names he can see are for tokens he directly controls. I'm just wondering if there is some setting I can get him to check on his end or if there is some option I have selected for his character that I shouldn't have.

Hi Kaladin, Please have your player come and post, it will make troubleshooting easier.  With that said, I would have your player check to see if Hover is enabled. Hover can be found in the My Settings tab in the VTT.
Update:  We had him toggle hover on and off, didn't fix it. However it might have partially fixed it (see next part)  This player had missed some sessions randomly (maybe a game after an update to roll20 rolled out) I notice on new creatures and NPCs he could now see the health bars; I was copying NPCs, party members and sometimes monsters across to new maps. After I remade all the tokens, including his and the rest of the party he was able to see everything fine. I'm not 100% sure was was responsible for the error or the fix but now its working. Thanks for the help and suggestions. - Kaladin
