Game:   D&D 5e Group type:   Online Experience:   Experienced Players Prefered Location/Time Zone:   Discord and Roll20, Weekly on Tuesday's at 7:00 pm CST Schedule:  Weekly, 3.5 hour sessions.   It was a brisk morning, the day was starting out normally in most cases, except for one thing, normally you would see birds flying about, animals scurrying around, and everything. But today was different, there were no birds in the sky, there oddly enough, was no sound of any creature out except the normal citizens of the world. Not too many took mind to this as it didn't interfere with their daily lives, but some made it a point that this was unnatural, and some even warned that something bad was on the horizon. If only others would have listened instead of laughing at them …. Early in the morning as the sun began to rise, it disappeared under the shadows of flying creatures. Dragons. Dragons began coming out of the mountains from the East and North. Now, dragons are not uncommon, they have never been uncommon. They have been a staple beast since the beginning of time, but never has there been a report or a sighting of this many dragons at once. The dragons fought the citizens and the beasts of the lands for hours. The siege left many around the world dead. However, not only were citizens and the natural beast dead, but so were many dragons. Many soldiers and mages fought with everything they had to protect as many as they could. But for some cities and villages, the swarm of dragons was just too much. Many cities fell this day. The began attacking everything, causing havoc across the entire country, many fell, but they made their way across the entire country and reports say they flew across the world. No one knows why or how, but all that remained after the attacks was wreckage.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello Adventurer, Welcome to the world of Heathon. I am in search of some hired hands for an important job. An artifact of mine has gone missing, and I am to old and frail to go hunting for it on my own. I have little coin to pay you in return, but rather, other benefits you might fight useful in your journeys ahead. If you could, meet me at my estate 6 moons from now, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Signed Knight Peppercorn ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello visitor. Dirk was NOT a fighter from birth, in fact he was quite bad at it for most of his life. However, his father pushed him hard into it and even bought him an expensive tutor who finally generate legitimate interest in the combat arts for Dirk. When his father fired the tutor for seemingly no reason, dirk left home to try and find him so he could continue his training. Zolrek is adventuring to try and catalog the creatures of the world, often getting himself into some sticky situations with his methods of obtaining information. Plink has sworn an Oath of the Crown to the goddess Melora, and lives his life to protect the natural order around him, doing his best to maintain balance in nature.  - Playstyle - I typically like martial classes with a focus on tactical combat and keeping enemies away from my allies. - Name - Torma  - Preferred Pronouns - He/Him  - Time zone - EDT/EST  - Experience - 5 or more years of tabletop experience. Currently most familiar and comfortable with 5E.  - Character Concept (no homebrew for this concept) - Magic with a side of coffee Sorlock with high Charisma that prefers talking things out when possible, but isn't afraid of fighting if it comes to blows. Kit can be tooled to what the party needs, but may otherwise default to a balance between healing allies and blasting enemies with a few utility spells for outside of combat. Arcanist Battleblade (Artificer/Wizard Multiclass) Tends to answer the question of "Does it hit," with "You can most certainly try." High Int build with an Artificer Origin for Battlesmith before switing to Bladesinger Wizard for the remaining levels. Can be built to be a master duelist, blaster caster, or balance of the two with spells to block, foil, or otherwise evade attacks aimed at him as often as possible while dealing as much damage as possible. As with all Wizards his quest for knowledge is endless, as is his desire to find as many uses for that knowledge as morally possible. Lore College Bard A Bard that wishes to help build a new world from the ashes of the old and unite it under the banner of peace. He tries to keep an open mind and consider different perspectives to increase the chances of finding similarities to build upon while striving to understand different cultures and peoples. His default combat setting is a mix concentration spells via magical secrets with spot-healing and burst options, but can easily be retooled to fit the party's needs. The Armorer An Aaracokran Artificer for whom combat was his song and creed, but chose the more peaceful path of building things after his worldview was suddenly and violently upended. Now in the wake of the calamity left in the wake of the Dragon he seeks to quite literally build a better world. But old habits die hard, and old songs are not so easily silenced while in the throes of combat. To fully retain his ability to fly he has chosen to restrict himself to light armor so that he may better respond to unexpected changes in his surroundings. Artificer Infusions can be oriented towards being strong and tanky or sharing newly-infused magic items with the party.  - Playstyle - I'm more rp-oriented as that's where most of the fun is for me, and I also do my best to build my characters with combat and exploration in mind. Combat style d epends partly on the class, and partly on what the party needs, though I like a mix of damage and healing to help keep the party alive and finish combat more quickly.  - Favorite Class and Why - Current favorite is the Battlesmith/Bladesinger multiclass, although I'm hoping to try other fun multiclass combos as well.  - Discord - tormaximnus
