[IKRPG] Fishing for Interest

As a long time fan of the Warmachine and Hordes tabletop miniatures game, it is absolutely safe to assume that I was pretty excited when IKRPG was announced. Once released, my small gaming group gave it a shot. We really enjoyed it, but we lacked the time to fit it in during our usual gaming nights given that, as previously mentioned, were fans of the war game counterpart as well. I rarely see any mention of IKRPG on Roll20 so I thought I'd throw this post out there to see who all had any interest in the game. Naturally, if I were to run the game it would take place in the published Iron Kingdoms setting. With that being said, who all would be interested in playing such a game? Additionally, what part of the world would you be interested in exploring? For instance, would you be interested in delving into Orgoth ruins to uncover their mysteries, focus on getting your small mercenary band their official charter off the ground, or maybe even a more militaristic approach on a particular warfront? I wouldn't require players to know the setting inside and out, but I would be seeking players with the willingness to learn and read about the setting where necessary. Of course, I would happily fill in those who are unfamiliar as I rather enjoy simply blabbing about it in depth! TLDR: Who would be interested in playing IKRPG on Roll20? Are you familiar with WarmaHordes and the Iron Kingdoms setting? What sort of content would you be interested in exploring?

Definitely interested. I've yet to actually play Iron Kingdoms, but once it came to my attention, I just bought everything DriveThru had to offer. I was really drawn to Five Fingers, in particular, but I'd be good with just about anything. Did you have a specific time in mind?
Super interested. midlevel competitive Retribution player. Owns all the material in hard copy. Flexible character play. Skype brandon.corrente
I've never gotten a chance to play very long, and I'd love to try, what time were you thinking? My Mondays/Tuesdays are definitely open at 6 PM MST.
Sorry about the delayed response! As it stands, I haven't fully decided on a time for me to run a game. I wanted to see what sort of interest existed out here. I'm pleasantly surprised to see at least three people are interested. Given the current available content, I think Five Fingers, Cygnar, and Llael are the easiest to run. I could easily do any of these. I feel like I could easily bring an Iosan into the party, but we'd have to work one-on-one to figure out his/her agenda. Some ideas that come to mind would be a small Mercenary charter in any of these regions, a gang of thieves/pirates, explorers, Llaelese rebellion, or new recruits to the Cygnar military. Naturally, there is a ton that you can do outside of that. I'm curious to see what your ideas and interests are.
Im good playing anything and am willing to help with book keeping to take some of thr load off the gm. I also have access to every card in warmachibe/hordes if you need stats converted for an encounter.

Explorers sounds interesting to me. Military/mercenary or thieves...not so much. Edit: my Mondays are not open anymore
As I said, Five Fingers is my personal favourite, so that'd lend itself to mercenaries, criminals, what have you. But, again, I'm flexible. I can adapt to just about anything.
I would be interested in playing. I have the core book but haven't had a chance to play as of yet
VERY. INTERESTED! I've played through the intro adventure once before, set in Crovis, not so long ago and enjoyed the experience through and through. That being said, I only own the CORE rulebook as a phys-rep, and my knowledge of the Iron Kingdoms is scarce at best for the most part as I don't play Warma/Hordes and so everything I've picked up thus far has been my own reading, or nuggets I've picked up Via play. To answer your Questions in short form, @TheBustinchops: Who would be interested in playing IKRPG on Roll20? - Yes, very much so. I'm based in +0 GMT and can make any of the following nights: Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs & Possibly Friday. Due to a lack of early morning Work commitments at current, I can make games set later in the evening, such as 10-11GMT and happily play through until 2-3AM. Are you familiar with WarmaHordes and the Iron Kingdoms setting? - Having read through the Lore bible that is the IK rulebook at least once fully, I have a rough understanding of the Iron Kingdoms, their geography and the major players. However, I ended up taking a liking to Llael and am sufficently read up on that region; So much so the character I played in the Previous adventure "fools rush in" was a LLaelese Character. What sort of content would you be interested in exploring? - At this point in time, I'd be interested in exploring anything the Iron Kingdoms has to offer, I just really want to get a chance to play in the Iron Kingdoms setting. However, Ideally I'd be more interested in exploring the Kingdoms themslves, hunting for Orgoth ruins, exploring poorly mapped regions or even diving into and experiencing Cities like Corvis. A mercenary charter, forming a mercenary copany does soundinterseting however, as there are many types of charter available and dependant on the group dynamic, I'd be very interested in exploring one of those charters as well. One last note before I sign off: I have played through the starting adventure "fools Rush in", but would love to get a chance to play through it again. As, if chosen to play, I won't be reviving the same character from my previous group. I choose my second class poorly, making him a Arcane Mechanik / Ironhead; which pretty much meant that I was in serious trouble the second I started taking real damage >_< Boiler damage HURT, both physically and financially, I'll just say that. Thanks for taking the time!
Bustin, looks like we got enough for a fill group. Lets get it rolling man!
I have to say, I'm really surprised to see a whole group fill up with out me having to rely on the Privateer Press forums or Reddit. Impressive! I don't know just how quickly I'll be able to get this game off the ground due to some unexpected adventures in the real world, BUT I certainly want to run something. I'd like to do some brainstorming with you guys as a group if possible to get me in the right mindset. For those of you still interested in playing, can you please send me a Private Message here containing your Skype contact information? I'll get a Skype group going and we can discuss some topics and see what comes of it all. Thanks again for your interest!
YES! @Bustin, O.K.! Received and understood! I'll be Working on it momentarily. Second kick ass piece of news I've received today. TODAY IS INDEED A GOOD DAY.
