Kalyndros Welcome to Kalyndros. A realm shrouded in mystery and abundant with wilderness. Our adventure begins in the city of Abhaìn, a picturesque small town nestled in a pristine valley at the heart of Kalyndros. The town is characterized by its harmonious relationship with the surrounding landscape, with a strong connection to both nature and water. A relatively small town by all standards, Abhaìn nonetheless benefits from recent discoveries in the nearby mountains and has quickly become a hub for adventurers, merchants, and ill-intended folk alike. What secrets will you uncover? Where lies your destiny? At this point, I prefer to keep as much mystery as possible - discover and shape the land with each decision you make! What can you expect from this game? If you are looking to discover and shape a brand new world, then you've come to the right place. THIS IS YOUR STORY : I encourage you to provide as detailed a backstory for your character as you'd like. I will intertwine it with the campaign and it is up to you as a party to decide where you want to focus. CONSISTENT PLAY : I'm looking for players that can adhere to a certain schedule and while players may come and go we will always continue to push forward. As a family man, I fully understand how complicated it can be to find the time each week, but I'll still find the time to be available and prepared for each session. A MAP FOR EVERY OCCASION : I support a couple of different artists on Patreon for an endless source of battle maps, and also dabble with Inkarnate to create my own if I have a specific need. IMMERSION : I will be using a variety of music, sounds, my own voice range, and some additional voice mods to go even further. SESSION TIME : Sessions will last 3 to 4 hours with some additional time set aside to prepare before, and to unwind after. CHARACTERS : This is a brand new campaign starting at Level 1 . I am open to all types of characters that fit a "sword & sorcery" fantasy world from the official rulebooks and add-ons. For example, while the world we'll be playing in is homebrewed, I'm not opposed to characters using backgrounds or deities from Eberron and the Forgotten Realms. All of that will of course be covered in a Session 0! FREE : The game is absolutely free of course! This is my first campaign on Roll20, and I am hoping to offer a very immersive and enjoyable game. I think it's crucial that the players have good chemistry (or develop it) so here's a few requirements to join this game: AGE : 18 or older COMMUNICATION : Discord & Roll20. I think being able to communicate clearly in D&D is a must and therefore a decent microphone and solid grasp of English is important! AVAILABILITY : This will be further discussed during Session0, but hopefully everyone can be available up to 5 hours each week, or bi-weekly.
