Customizable Hotkeys

I would love to see the ability to customize the hotkeys for the toolbar. As a CAD engineer there are soooo many different programs where hitting 'ESC' will stop/clear the current command and default back to some sort of selection tool. I would love for that to be the case for the UI toolbar, too many times have I've  forgotten to click off the measure or draw tool when attempting to move tokens around.
