Hello! I am looking for a game of, well, mostly anything that isn't D&D during the evening for GMT, though I do have some distinct preferences - especially for not purchasing and learning an entirely new system. Preferentially I am seeking live-text with set sessions, rather than asynchronous play by post, but I could be persuaded. Open to groups or solo, really. I've been playing TTRPGs for over ten years, mostly as a GM. I like character driven stories and adventures and, while darkness, danger and grim peril can absolutely be things, I find that a mix of up and down moments and light and dark heartedness works best in games. I'm happy to work with the inclusion of mature themes and content, but would very much want to discuss what that means and entails before hand. In no particular order, systems and settings I am interested in: Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2e or 4e. I have a great fondness for the setting and the systems (especially 4e). Pokemon Tabletop United. Fallout. There's a Modiphius RPG (that I don't own, but would be willing to get), but I am actually open as to system. It just looks like a fun setting. Warhammer 40k (either the FFG RPGs, or C7's Imperium Maledictum). Solid settings and systems, and I've been musing for a while that an Only War game about trench life (a la Blackadder Goes Forth) would be fun. Not interested in Black Crusade, though, I'm afraid. Dresden Files RPG. Avatar: The Last Airbender. Possibly while pretending Legend of Korra never happened. Halo: Mythic. Unhallowed Metropolis. Adeptus Evangelion. Changeling: The Lost. Though fair warning, I don't have the best grasp of the WoD RPGs and may need a little hand holding. Girl Genius. This list isn't exhaustive, and if you have something else in mind, I'm perfectly happy to discuss and consider it! Please note that text only is a requirement, and I am also not interested in any form of D&D and/or d20 with the serial numbers filed off. Thanks for reading, and I hope to hear from you!
