[LFP][D&D5E][£15][WED 6PM EST] "Delve Into The Barrowmaze" Epic Sandbox Campaign

Roll20 Disclaimer: This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of 15£ per session through Paypal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Roll20 Listing: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/352026/the-restoration-of-valoria-heimland-sands-campaign-2 WHEN DOES THIS GAME RUN: We typically play on Wednesdays from 6-9/10pm EST. They are currently a group of 3, consisting of a Fighter, Wizard and a Monk. Based on their composition, any class would be a great addition but I'm sure they'd love to see a Rogue or another spellcaster. CAMPAIGN PREMISE: Four hundred years ago, the followers of an ancient god, Mael Morda, carried with them an artefact of otherworldly power, an item called the Tablet of Chaos deep into the Crypts of the Barrowmaze to enact a dreadful curse upon the enemies of their faith. The Barrowmaze is a 375-Room Mega Dungeon full of traps, puzzles and treasure where players will be challenged to unravel the secrets of the tomb and uncover the truth behind the enigmatic figures interred within. From the labyrinthine halls of the lower levels to the sinister corridors of the upper chambers, the players must fight for survival against waves of the undead, crafty traps, and powerful guardians that lurk within. Set in my homebrew setting of Valoria, the players are members of noble houses, powerful guilds, and religious orders, trying to survive in a world where the dead rises after death and all sorts of foul, twisted and dark things happen. I will say that this is a homebrewed version in that I've changed the names of the gods, developed the nearby duchy where I've added a lot more content and lore. But the Barrowmaze itself and the other modules have more-or-less remained the same. Additionally, the Barrowmaze is not the only adventure opportunity, as I pride myself on being a sandbox dungeon master that can run a variety of adventures in and outside of the swamplands itself including "The Keep on the Borderlands", the "Veiled Society" and plenty of other OSR-Modules. Check out my YouTube Channel for more Information and feel free to subscribe, thanks! - My YouTube WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN THIS GAME: TAILORED CONTENT: I tailor make content for my players that is both modularized but with Sandbox potential. CONSISTENT PLAY: I've been running games for my players for upwards of two years, and whilst some players do come and gol, we always continue towards our end goal. MULTI-PARTY CONTENT: My campaign setting has seen dozens of adventuring parties and many adventures. Currently I have two paid groups who are adventuring in the same time period, at the same time. This means players may know about each other, meet one another, roleplay, fight monsters together, etc. GOOD VIBES: My players are all adults and know how to have a good time. They understand each other to a degree as well as myself, meaning we don't argue or fight at the table. DETAILED NPCS: My campaign has a variety of NPCs & Monsters, all with distinct voices, behaviours, desires and needs. MUSIC & AMBIENCE: I have a vast library of music available to use at any given time to reflect the mood of the session. CUSTOM MAPS: I create my own maps, both regional & for combat encounters, to offer an unique experience for players. IMPROVED GAME QUALITY: We use a number of homebrew rules that improve game quality, allowing for creativity, and a more structured play session. COMMUNITY EVENTS: Both of my groups are in the same Discord, along with other players who I'm friends with or have played with me in the past. Sometimes we have F2P one-shots, adventures, battle-royals, and other content for people to enjoy. By joining this game, you would gain access to that. OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION: My sessions usually run for 3 to 4 hours depending on the schedules of my players. We're all adults and know how to have a great time. My campaigns typically consist of homebrew content as well as pre-written content that I've adjusted, tweaked, and changed to fit my narrative and story. The main module I will be using for this campaign is called "The Barrowmaze", an old-school Grimdark Module about Necromancy, Cultists & Evil Gods. It has a Mega-Dungeon with dozens of unique magic items, custom spells, notable puzzles, and distinctive encounters which my players are super excited about. All of my players pay-to-play, and do so to have a better experience with a Dungeon Master who will tailor content for them. They also pay for the quality and the expectation of finding other players who are willing to invest into a great game. REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN: It's important that we find the right people to join this group. My players invest their time and effort to have an enjoyable experience at my table. I've seen paid games that will just accept anyone, but this can cause conflict if the players are not suitable nor appropriate for the game. Because of these requirements, our game has been able to last a long time and my players have not had to worry about any issues or problems. These requirements are simple, but I think we've all played in a game or two where somebody has an awful microphone and seems oddly unwilling to fix it. Aged 18 or older. Have a Microphone with no background noise or static. Have Discord. Have Roll20. Be willing to play 3-5 hours each week Comfortable paying 15£ per week for the game sessions. If you have any inquiries, or if you'd love to join our game and meet our requirements, feel free to add me on Discord: lokislair

TESTIMONIALS: Daniel [Current Player; Sat]: "Some of the stuff you read online about D &D can make you think there 's always lots of group conflicts , bad DMs , all kinds of crazy stuff . One of the things I appreciate most about Loki is , on the occasion that disagreements are had they are solved swiftly and fairly every time . There is never any lingering negativity , the games are always very positive and welcoming . And for his players , you can always message him at any time with a game -related problem or question , and he will always do his best to resolve it quickly . There is always transparency , no BS or excuses , just solutions . Another thing I appreciate is , his head is always bursting with ideas . While not all of his ideas work , it is a good feeling to have a DM who is constantly striving to improve the game for himself and all of his players . Loki 's games are great , and so is he . " Andrew [Current Player; Sat] : " I 've played with Loki now since December 2020 and despite losing a few characters over the course of my time playing with him (mainly due to my own silly mistakes ) he never fails to make my new characters feel like they belong in the world . His NPCs are varied and interesting and so too is his worldbuilding and adventures . His ability to adapt and improv to what the players decide is top notch and I can honestly see myself playing with him for years to come ." Levi Hankenson [Former Player; Wed] : "Loki's game is highly professional and narrative. I have felt fear for my character's life in a way that was compelling, exciting, and masterfully narrative. He leaves a strong impression with his skilful encounter crafting and narrative storytelling. No matter what your character is, you feel important to the story." Abdi [Former Player; Sun]: "Loki is an awesome DM, and a good friend. he spends a lot of time and effort behind his games. He's legit the best DM I've ever had. :)" Brodie [Former Player; Sun] : "Loki's campaigns are so powerfully immersive that the line between my real life in Heimland and this 'earth' is getting really blurry. I keep catching myself daydreaming EVERY DAY about our high-magic setting of 'London', where literally everyone can use 'lightning' power to solve pretty much any problem. Imagine that, Electric wagons, electric cleaning brooms, electric messenger birds, proper crazy stuff. It's becoming a real problem, I keep imagining how to engage with the earth economy at any hour of the day and my in-world wife feels so real at times, I honestly think I hear her telling me she's sick of 'DnD' , whatever that is..."

We had an incredible session last night and our new player, Zenu; playing as Oswald the Fighter, who came from this forums has fit in perfectly. He was having difficulties finding a good online game but boy, he's found the game now. The session was so good and it's setup a great villain for the party in the future. We're still interested in finding a few new players, feel free to reach out via discord if you'd like to begin your journey with us.

I'm running my Wednesday Session tomorrow and they're starting a new run of the Barrowmaze. I'm excited to see where they go, what they find, and what they meet in the depths. They could do with some new muscle in the group so if you want to join an awesome campaign with dark gods, necromancy and ancient magic, come join us.
Today is the day for this week's session. The party are making their way back towards the Barrowmaze to slay monsters and uncover vast riches, now is a perfect time to inquire and join our ongoing campaign.

Today is game day! I'm preparing the session at the moment and I'm pretty excited for the big fight tonight which we'll be starting off with. The players are fighting a Mage of Sett and whilst he has low hit points, his turn is coming up next, hopefully the party can thwart this villain and continue their delve into the Barrowmaze.
The session was fantastic today, everyone had a good time. The Wednesday Group is being recalibrated right now and we're looking for some new faces to join and get involved.
