Troop movement arrows all point towards the center of the US, large circles drawn around cities that have already fallen or were destroyed in the initial invasion, it has been a little over 2 months since the invasion, and this is what is left. You look around the room, men that two months prior had been farmers, lawyers, truck drivers and even privileged citizens of the US; now wore whatever clothing they could find to blend into their surroundings, in 2 short months roughly 40 million Americans were dead, the remaining were either imprisoned in the camps, living under a totalitarian regime or fighting. The west coast was taken by the Chinese by crossing the North Pacific Ocean (12202014), the east coast suffered a tragic defeat by the Russian forces crossing from the North Atlantic and Canada (12212014). Not counting the troops hiding in the numerous imports ships in port that launched simultaneously with the invasion forces coupled with a sudden collapse of the telecommunications network(12212014). Mexico has shut it's borders creating a one mile wide "kill zone" between the US and Mexico, forsaking it's people still trapped on the us side of the border(12242014). Canada promised support, however Russian troops are still bleeding across the Canadian border daily. Satellite images had been controlled for four months prior to the invasion day; So far it is estimated that 40,000,000 are dead, Washington DC, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Virginia Beach, Raleigh, Jersey City, Newark, San Jose, LA, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio were are all gone by (01022015). In Florida, everything south of I-10 was destroyed by a large bomb and a nuclear meltdown in Lakeland(12222014). At first the Chinese and Russians took no prisoners, executing with out prejudice every man, woman and child they found. They have now set up camps, housing people that do not bend to the regime, while those that do are allowed to go about life under the iron will of occupying force, a constant fear that the "Grey Squad" will come swoop them up at night, the government owns everything, you are expected to kneel to the foreign powers and accept your lot in life. Your are but a cog in the great machine. "We have so far not been able to stem the tide, we have not posed serious threat to them, that all changes today..." ((So, are you up to it? This campaign will be played as a D20 Modern, or a GURPS game, I am leaning towards GURPS, but we'll see after the 17th of April how well I like the system. It will be a modern campaign, no magic, no super tech, current technology, maybe a tad forward, but all modern application. This will be a weekly meeting, on Friday or Sat night, no earlier than 8:00 pm central, usual sessions will run at least 3-4 hours. However if every one is feeling up to it and having a good time I can usually run longer. I want 4-6 players, this campaign will have adult themes, so please no one that can't handle that please (Mature themes such as: Sex, Violence, Drugs and Alcohol, not a comprehensive list but you get the idea). Also, please ensure that you can run Roll20 and skype, and have a working microphone. The PC's will be army members and can range any where from 18-40, if you would like to play any one younger than that, let's talk and we may be able to accommodate you. This game will start May 3rd or 4th depending on scheduling conflicts, we may meet earlier to discuss some character creation and campaign details.
