One-time storage limit upgrades

Score + 29
I would love to support the site, but a monthly subscription is a hard thing for me to commit to. A one-time purchase to increase my storage quota on the site would be amazing, even if it was in fairly small increments like a few hundred MB. In the campaign I'm currently working on, 100MB will likely be enough, but any amount of extra space would give me a lot more breathing room. My suggestion is to add an "Account Upgrades" section to the Marketplace, where people can buy miscellaneous upgrades like increased storage capacity without having to commit to paying for a temporary service.
Yes please, i am in the same boat, i was even wondering if having subbed once serves as a one-time payment to increase the storage quota even if you drop the sub after.

Yes, permanent storage upgrades to purchase would be fantastic. You could even do increments of 100mb, 500mb, and 1GB. I was also going to suggest that Roll20 could add in a seperate tier subscription between Base and Plus where you still pay a monthly subscription (albeit reduced) but get something like 2GB storage capacity with no other bonus features. You could bump all the above tiers up by 1GB or two to balance things out as well. Roll20 would be much more likely to get more money out of me instead of making do with the free version, as none of the features in any of the tiers really interest me apart from the increased storage.
Thinking even more on this (as if we want to get this off the ground we need to make it as monetarily appealing to Roll20 as possible), what about this. The current price for a Plus Subscription is $50 for the year and you get 3GB of storage (plus a few other fancy benefits/features). What if you added a subscription tier below that called " Extra ", for example? The only  difference between the Base and Extra subscription is the storage limit, nothing else changes. The Extra subscription gives you 1.5GB of storage for the annual price of $20, let's say. Now on top  of this, Roll20 could introduce a storage upgrade purchase that users could buy, however instead of it being a one-time purchase, it just adds on to your annual/monthly fee. This way Roll20 can continually earn money off this instead of it being just a once-off payment (making it more appealing for them to implement). I have no idea about prices but as an example you could pay an extra $5 per year for an increase of 1GB in storage , or an extra $10 per year for an increase of 3GB in storage , and then maybe one big one of an extra $15 per year for an increase of 5GB in storage . This way users can purchase as much, or as little, extra storage as they wish and Roll20 can continually make money of them each year. Plus, just like a regular subscription, if users decide they don't need that extra storage anymore they can choose to cancel it and go back to the base storage of whatever subscription tier they're in. I feel this would please users and also be a great money-making opportunity for Roll20 :-)
I am about to hit my free storage limit, I was wondering. Lets say I am at my limit. But then I go and buy a module, (Tyranny of Dragons) or something like that. Will those things count toward my limit? Will I be able to run the game since my storage limit is maxed out? Just wondering! Also, would LOVE a 1 time pay for permanent storage bump.

No, anything you purchase on-site is in a separate section labeled "Premium Assets", while things that take up your site storage are in the "My Library" section.
Casting Resurrection on this Thread to bring it back into the limelight. Please quit the Monthly Subscription stuff and make this world a better place with single payments, Roll 20.
I gotta concur with this.
I agree with you, I am currently implementing a company where I create everything from scratch, but the players are not interested in dynamic lighting. I have to upload a lot of files to the library and I'm starting to feel the need for space
I do wonder about this too, since I have to delete and reupload stuff whenever I change between campaigns.. and that surely is going to be more expensive, eating bandwith, than letting me pay for extra storage. As things are I dont find yearly subscriptions useful, our schedule is way too unstable. Some months we may have 8 sessions, some zero.
