I checked my art library and under recent uploads, it appears that every image I have ever uploaded is now under this. I tried to move some to a folder and it just copies them rather than transfers the image. Usually if I move an image then it is no longer under "recent uploads". Any ideas on what could be going on?

That’s how it has always worked. You should see a little icon nearby that hides all the images you have filed somewhere. I leave mine like that so I see only the most recent unfixed uploads, then I file them immediately.

Just for clarification, the "folder" in the art library act more like tags. You are not actually moving the location of anything, it's just a virtual organization, like a filter. If you delete an item from a "folder', it's still in your library. If you delete it from Recent Uploads (it's real, true home), then it is really removed.
