I'd hesitate to call this broken, since I'm not sure how many people would actually prefer tokens obscuring bars of tokens behind them. How would you track HP in a crowded battle? I'd be constantly moving tokens around. Here's a screenshot from four years ago, showing the old overlapping. How would you tell how many hp the cultist at center right has? (well technically, you can see the full bar, but a partial bar would be obscured. I just couldn't find a better google image). If numbers were not displayed, the token at center bottom would be a mystery. My personal preference is the compact option, overlapping bottom: I realize a lot of this is personal preference, of course. But I haven't seen a lot of calls lately to change anything. yes the image you show is the good behaviour that got removed. Now what do you get when you put many tokens over each other? A MASS OF HP BARS? YOU CAN ONLY SEE HP BARS, CANT SEE ANY TOKENS, CANT CLICK ANYTHING with the old system you could click and bring other tokens above, now if you pile tokens its just a bunch of hp, you cant manage it at all, its impossible look at this and let me know, do you think this is acceptable correct behaviour? THIS IS UNPLAYABLE and I know that you will say, no you wouldnt be able to manage this even with the old system, but thats not true, with the old system I could work with this situation perfectly, but now its what you see, absolutely impossible to see anything
