You are no hero...at least not yet. You are an untested sell-sword, an
apprentice mage, a fresh recruit in the local thieves' guild, or an
acolyte just given leave of your temple to spread your god's word. But
this world is full of opportunities for you to make a name for yourself
and leave your mark on history. The path to greatness is not an easy
one though. It will take grit and a touch of luck to succeed, and you
will have to risk death if you want true glory. This game is 2SLGTBQIA+ friendly and everyone is welcome at my table as
long as they can be respectful to me and their fellow players.
In Session 0 we will review all safety tools, including those not
specifically mentioned that you may want to use.
HackMaster is a system that redefines many TTRPG design standards, and
in my humble opinion it provides a refreshing change for those tired of
the same turn-based combat systems. I generally like to keep a healthy
balance of roleplay, problem-solving, and combat, but the exact mix will
be determined by the group; For example, a political campaign may not
include as much combat, and a campaign centered on open warfare may not
include many puzzles. Character creation will be done together as a group in session 0 after
we have established what kind of campaign we will be playing together.
Players do not need to create characters ahead of time. Roll20 LFG Listing: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/385062/hackmaster-basic-paid This game is hosted through startplaying.com ,
